I love this mod and it always worked fine, but it started going weird after the Quest "No One escapes Cidnha Mine" where you get thrown in prison with all your equipment removed. I even uninstalled it, installed it again, and no good. I even reloaded old saves where it worked fine, and doesn't work anymore, so no point in that.
Thing is, I can't wear my Novice Hood and my circlet together anymore.
I also started having problems with "Helmet Toggle" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22765/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D22765%26preview%3D&pUp=1 at the VERY SAME MOMENT, even though both mods worked well and together before this damn quest. My hood doesn't show at all anymore.
Any insight as to why it's s***ing in my hands would be nice.

I verified the game cache on Steam and it solved the problem, everything is back to normal.
I'm having an issue with the Adept and Apprentice hood. It's not working with them but at least it works with the Novice hood for some reason. I'll see it it's conflicting with the armored circlets mod I'm using and keep you posted.
Update: I found out I had two other mods that were basically doing the same thing this mod does ;^-^ my bad took them out and placed your mod at the end of the load order and it works fine.

turns out I am just dumb - forgot I had Helm Toggle mod installed, these two don't go well together
