I say, this is a blast from the past.

Anyway if anyone wants to port it, knock yourself out. I don't really care anymore TBH.

I just ported this to SSE, in CBBE and UNP. Do I have your permission to upload it to Nexus? I will credit you and include a link to this page of course.

Please, transforming it into SSE. I really want to show the barefeet without lose the perk of armor, and this mod is the one of the few mods that could satisfy it, also not so much different from the theme of original Skyrim.

I just ported it to SSE with SSE Nif Optimizer, it only took about a minute. Works fine.

The only thing I never understood in this mod is: Why doesn't the Imperial version have a replacer like the Forsworm? In the end, even manually changing the files, there will be no sound of bare feet. NPCs cannot use it, of course.

      "OBTAINING THE ARMOR PIECES:

Forge them at any forge. You will find them under the "Imperial" section. You will need Steel Smithing perk to forge the Heavy version."

      Also you need smiting perks...

can you please explain to me how you did this?
i mean i got my own boots to have only the plate parts by using only the feet bi-ped object and editing the partition of the dismemberskininstance to 37 only...
i ended up with my feet showing and my calves are invisible... what am i missing? is there anything else that is need to be done?
by the way im trying to edit an existing vanilla boots piece.

    thanks ! :)

Functionally, they are perfect.  However, cosmetically, I notice that they don't have an inventory image.  Would it be possible to just use the basic Imperial boot image as the inventory image for these leg guards?
