Not sure if anyone cares about this anymore, but in NMM the file version says "1", and latest version says "0.1" causing it to give a "!".. I'm OCD. Annoying. ><
While I was absolutely delighted that it stopped my Nord's Lydia from that annoying "burden" thing, where was a problem that I hadn't anticipated. When I rolled a new character, Lydia just wouldn't show up at all! If this is something changeable, please let me know. I'm sure this isn't a problem for a lot of you who don't have my compulsion for rolling new toons. :-P
Wouldn't mind seeing this with Brelyna from the Mages college. "I'm a mage, not a pawnbroker" has seeped into the back of my head, and that is now all that I hear when I sleep.
I don't know if it is possible, but does Lydia (all/most NPC companions) have simple affirmation/confirmation lines that could be substituted for more annoying lines where appropriate? It isn't that most of us mind them talking, but the constant "sworn to carry burdens" and "are you a healer?" gets annoyingly repetitive. After the 5oth time I've healed her, for her to still be surprised I can heal really irks me. Ideally, could such lines be replaced with some versions of (in these examples) "yes/aye" or "thanks"? I guess it sort of depends on what audio files are available (I have no idea).

Can you make Lydia say that instead of just being silent?
