It's been awhile for me... Are you using special edition? This is an oldrim mod. Are you using any other mods that affect night eye? I'd need a bit more info.
I've tried about four different nighteye mods and this is the only one that works for me. Nothing over the top, just something brighter that still lets me see some COLOR. I use an ENB that doesn't do too much, and I haven't noticed any weird effects. This works better than mods that came out a couple years ago.
Thank you. The mod is flawed and rather old now. I had a new version in the works but.... life. To this day, especially after se being released, I have often thought about coming back to it.
Oh yus... This looks VERY amazing, love it SO much, especially the Predator-like vision choice. XD ha ha ha Endorsed 100%! ^-^
EDIT: I installed it and it seems to work well, only I get the setting for some, not all the visual choices, is it my resolution that is preventing me from seeing the other choices? :<
Currently, the new version has an immense amount of new content in the form of tweaking night eye. I'm beginning to think it's a ridiculous amount of new content. It will be entirely done thru MCM but I might make something without it later on if there is need. Back to the immensity: I have three complete visual presets; that's seventeen visual presets to choose from! Each of these presets lack any blur and any opening/closing frills (blurring, whiting out, blacking out during activation/deactivation), but there are going to be separate options for this. Additionally you can tweak the multiply/add factor of brightness, saturation, and contrast. I am also working on the color tint/fade. I will also be adding life detection in a few different forms to this mod as well. Everything will stack, allowing a huge number of combo's to be done. Oh! I added a couple new options for activation/deactivation sounds, too... I'm considering separating activation and deactivation into two separate options.
As I go I keep thinking bigger, so I can't wait to finish this new version.
FYI, in case anyone is interested; I am totally working on a massive reboot of this mod. I would say that I'm hands deep in this but it's more like my elbows.
is it possible to add a toggle option for the other races too having to recast ever 60 seconds sucks just because i want to play a wood elf and not a kitty cat
I might be wrong but if I remember correctly, that oblivion mod wasn't created regularly with the mod tools but was an actual shader file replacement... which I have no knowledge about.
Really like this mod, but I also like this version, because it is more immersive since it will trigger based on light conditions. His doesn't have the configuration options that yours has.
Can I just say, I just started to use this mod and going to the main page I thought "Yeah another half baked mod by 'some guy'" mostly because of the way you have presented it there.
Upon running the mod - it's brilliant and well coded obviously.
You really should put more detail into the description page dude so people can see EXACTLY what it does. Describe the menu system under powers and the selections available. This is a AAA mod with a C description. I'm sure many more people would use it if you put a little more elbow grease into that front page!
I know... I know... To be honest, I made this for myself and just thought I'd share. There was a great "better night eye" mod for oblivion, and nothing filled the void in Skyrim for me. So, frills and such were sort of lacking in the description.

Something to consider: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/7327 Think you could do edge detect option?
His doesn't have the configuration options that yours has.
Any chance you could add something similiar?
