This mod shouldn't crash the game, and it shouldn't conflict with other mods, it doesn't modify any existing entries and only adds 4 entries, the spell effect, the enchant, the armour and the crafting recipe.

it would be nice to place the light source into the circlet's central gem, if possible
I thought of that when I made it but it would be a lot harder to do and may not be as good in the end. I used a existing spell effect so I didn't have to create one, and if the light was in the centre gem then it would make sense for the light to only shine forwards, and for people who play in third person that may not be as desirable.
I'm not sure how to make it so that you're able to disenchant it to get the enchantment to put on other items, i'll look into it and see what I can do.
As the guy below me said, any chance we can get this as an enchantment? Combining this with a waterbreathing spell would be great for exploring Pilgrim's Trench.
Nice, would love to see this come in "enchantment" version so we can apply this to other helmets. Circlets seem to be more feminine so adding it as an enchantment might make it more appealing to people who play male characters.
