Just what I was looking for! I've just installed this on Anniversary Edition and in conjunction with Unique Barbas Retexture - works great. If you are looking right at him you can still hear the bark but it's muted to almost nothing. Or, perhaps I'm just that sick of hearing him bark I only THINK I hear it... Thank you!
(When I installed through NexusMods I did get a message saying it wasn't managed for Anniversary but gave it a shot anyway. Works just fine!)
i can live with too hard enemies i can live with clipping i can live with crashes i can live with reloading old save games i can live with followers disappearing i can live with horses disappearing i can live with most kind of bugs but i CANNOT live with this constant barking literally every 5 seconds that is the most annoying thing in the game, so therefore this must be the most important mod for skyrim
Yes - answered my own question - This simply turns off the "Barking" - but you will still > See < the dog barking. Thing is I want 'him' / 'her' to bark - just not every freaking moment ... but I also found, this is the best that you can get .... Bethesda simply did NOT think this one through.

Even the power of the MOD Gods isn't enough to shut the yapper of a Dog of Skyrim!
