Don't suppose you could make a Poleaxe with a hammer on the back, much like this? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/93/0a/45/930a456374bba45450d9fe8a52c67e45.jpg
I've been thinking about something like that. I'd probably choose a different hammer face, though. The meat tenderizer face is probably the most iconic nowadays, and it did exist historically, but simpler hammer faces were far more common.
Well, IIRC it's not about skill level per se. You just need the steel smithing perk, so you just need to be high enough to get that. Or if you're in a hurry, or that doesn't fit your build, you can always cheat it with "player.addperk".
I'm actually having trouble with the installation, I followed the instructions but all the weapons are invisible for some reason.
Other than that I love this mod, have you considered making an in-lore version of this mod? Maybe having similar pole arms for each level of weapon? (Glass halberd? Dwarven Halberd?)
Hmm... I'd recommend checking if you've got a MHalberds directory under both MeshesWeapons and TexturesWeapons. Probably worth trying to invalidate the archive too.
Or if all else fails, maybe try with NMM? Though I never used that one, so no idea.
As for dwarven and elven and glass weapons... well, I'm not sure their fancy design themes actually have a RL equivalent.
I added a hopefully representative specimen of a 15'th century Swiss halberd. In as much as that's even possible, given that pretty much no two were identical.
I think I'll give the Swiss a break after this, since by now I probably got a few thousand Renaissance Swiss warriors spinning in their graves
I added an even earlier type of Swiss Voulge, of a type that was used at the Battle of Morgarten in 1315, when a small group of militia of the Old Swiss Confederacy wiped out a much larger army of the finest Austrian knights and men at arms. Which secured their freedom for the next 70 years or so. (Then they had to wipe out another army and still kept their freedom.)
Should be an inspiration to all of you Stormcloaks :p
As for still working on this, well, yeah, I'm starting to appreciate again beheading Thalmor and bandits with a good polearm I have a second Swiss voulge almost ready now. I'll probably release it tomorrow. And I have my eyes set on a 15'th century halberd next. I'm thinking maybe I'll do a bardiche next? Or possibly a pollaxe? Don't take it as a promise, though.

Hi Moraelin ,
I think, we could talk German ...?
Anyway, I really love your work,
but ... would you may consider to add a kind of "Crafting Manual" or "Crafting Item" to your mods to "unclutter" the crafting menue?
Means, that the weapons only show up in the crafting menu, if the appropriate Item is in the inventory.
As an additional esp, of course ...
