Really nice armour set, but the texture for the shield is missing. It's present in the download, for some reason it just isn't getting used in the game :(. Any ideas?

EDIT: Just noticed it's the Heroic Dwarven Armory standalone version. Downloaded the files from here (instead of here; https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58233/) and all is well. I have lost the armour I made though so will have to make it again.. when I have enough ingots :(

At first I found the mod enjoyable until I saw that the armor and weapons are stronger than ebony, which really broke my immersion

Well think of it as newer better made verison of Dwarven armor. Besides they were technologically superior to everyone else. Frankly their armor should be around ebony and stronger. Never made sense to me how their armor is as crappy as it is in vanilla when they were suppose to be this technologically superior civilization who where more advanced then everyone else and their stuff still is. Though I suppose it could be chalked up to wear and tear with it's age and insufficent smithing skills for the "new stuff". But it could be one of those things where the armor and weapons can be upgraded better then the other armors/weapons to the point where once you max your smithing skill a legendary armor/weapon would rival a daedric or ebony one at legendary when upgraded/refined at grinder/workbench.

I know it's been quite a while since your post, but just in case others who see this have the same complaint, I also have a version which is purely a texture replacement for the existing Dwarven Armor. You can grab it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4818/?

On picture 17, how do I make the skirting part look golden? The purple coloring makes it look unappealing cause it stands out.

It's been forever ago since I made this and I don't even really do much with Skyrim anymore these days. But I remember that I first made a simple retexture instead of this standalone set.

In that original retexture the cloth is more like you would prefer I think (here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/ECF9rkY.jpg) I later made the purple version as an optional download because someone asked me to.

So just grab this other version and use its skirt texture instead of the purple one and you should be good to go: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4818

Hope that helps; just let me know if you have any questions and I'll help in any way I can as long as my memory doesn't fail me

The best dwarven armor mod. To be honest, I never liked dwarven armor set, and didn't even like anything about dwarves, but this armor changed my mind in that way, that everything my character uses is dwarven he even started to live in Dwarven home. I like retexture you did, and changed old boring dwarven armor into something almost different, just the cloth should be black becouse this purple is almost too purple (it stands out too much). Anyway, excellent work.

hey there! thanks a lot, it's been forever ago since I made this and I don't even really do much with Skyrim anymore these days. But I do happen to remember that I first made a simple retexture instead of this standalone set.

And in the that retexture the cloth is more like you would prefer I think (I had the royal purple version as an optional download in that version). So just replace the texture on your current version with this other one and you should be good to go: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4818

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks again for the kind words!

What sizes are the textures? When I saw this, I was like, "holey moley, these must be like 8K!"

Epic Armor, I'm playing as a dwarven race from a custom mod so I thought since the dwarves were masterminds of smithing and magic, that they, if still living would be capable of an armor such as yours. I also love how I can use the lore friendly one by cabal for the default armor ingame to represent it isn't fresh like your armor which my dwemer has freshly crafted. Kudos to a great mod and look forward to more of your work especially other armors.

The game won't allow for use in console commands. Not that ill only use console commands, but it would be nice to know that they work. Any info on this situation would be perfect.

it might have something to do with the first two character. try looking in your mod loader what number the mod has and replace them with something else you have, example: "Heroic Dwarven Armor: 0E000D63", replace the "0E" with your number like "7F", then you get: 7F000D63.
If that doesn't work i don't know it either.

edit: nevermind look at some posts above me. Much clearer explained.
