    The Ghostic coast and outlying islands have a certain desolate beauty that captivate my imagination. I would vigorously encourage more development of this sadly neglected region. This is my first northern home ever, with just the right layout. However, I would wish for a bit bigger bedroom with a small fireplace and double bed, for myself and my lovely companion/wife , and outside, a small stone jetty with a moored boat. Why a stone jetty? Seasonal ice floes will make SHORT WORK out of any flimsy wooden dock. Why nearby Dawnstar's dock-builders embarassingly failed to grasp this simple wisdom is beyond me.....too much bad mead on the job perhaps? Anyway, I am much obliged for this beautiful home by the sea. Please make more northern, Ghostic region mods if possible. Cheers!

    For those having trouble finding it, like me; It's northwest of Dawnstar. On the water. There should already be an icon there you can fast travel to.

    I really like how many bookshelves are included and the cozy space. My only issue is with the mannequins that shift around the room sometimes.

    Hi, I would like to try your home, but I can not find it. Would you not like to add info about the whereabouts in the description?

    @zem66

    It's a known skyrim bug. Since mannequins are NPCs, they will follow the navmesh. Basically one has to choose between allowing followers in a cell, or having mannequins move around. I think it's safe to say most people would prefer their followers ;}

    If you're interested in details, more at this thread:
    http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/482475-tutorial-spawn-a-mannequin-base-id-89a85/
    Or up on youtube search for skyrim moving mannequins

    Anyways, I prob shouldn't have brought that one up. There's really nothing that can be done using the CK yet. It is definitely not a bug in your mod or anything like that.

    I can't wait to check out the new version! I've wanted a home of this style for some time now, I'm just not at all good with the CK editor.
    Kudos on the excellent work!

    hi
    I've uploaded v 0.99 with data folder for correct integration with the manager.
    Changing the name of the esp is possible but it looses everything you already put in the house before...so the update keeps the original name (not so original) to avoid accidental disparition of all daedric items and other precious things...
    There's a few new pictures too, so one can take a look inside.
    Dissy, I wonder if you don't use another patch for mannekins...that could explain what happens?

    good play to all

    hi, everybody
    thanks to you disso for the suggestions you made. pictures of the inside are coming,and other exterior ones because of the changes in v 0.99...
    I've never experienced the problem with mannekins moving around the house (mine dont do this!)
    I designed them to look like my actual character, changing the mannekin race in ck but I am not that smut to figure out what happens to you
    I will upload today zips with the folder (I don't use the manager, so I din't think to this) and new pictures as well.
    Since the last update (or patch) it seems my tower doesn't exist anymore, I suspect the bug that permitted its coexistence with an interior has been corrected. That's why I release V 0.99, in wich I changed the markhart stuff for regular dwarwen tower pieces.

    I installed and checked out the home, as I love the dwemer style. Pretty nice so far!

    I took some screen shots of the inside I can upload if you would like, but it looks like you have user submitted images disabled. If you could turn that option on, I would gladly upload what I have for you to approve those you like.

    I also had a couple suggestions for you (Doesn't everyone?

    Your .zip file contains a single home.esp file, so if one installs it with the nexus mod manager, it will place it in the game directory and thus not work at all.
    To fix that, you'll want to make your .zip file contain a folder named "data", and place the .esp file in that. Then it will be installed into the games data folder and work correctly.
    I might also suggest a rename of the file, as "home.esp" is pretty common of a name, and might overwrite another mod. Perhaps DwemerHome.esp ?

    The only other thing I noticed was the mannequins are experiencing the standard CK navmesh bug, and moving around the home. I'm not sure what (if any) methods are out yet to fix this, but I wanted to let you know.
    I removed the mannequins before taking screen shots as I use a nude mod and figured you wouldn't want people seeing that ;}You'll have to take your own picts of them if you want to show that off.

    Please reply to this message if and when you enable user image uploads, so I get a notification, and I'll upload them asap.

    Thanks!
