I’m not an aspiring youtuber trying to gain subs. This isn’t a plug or an ad. The fact is that I am not a healthy person, and I have a problem that I’m trying desperately to solve. I’m actually fighting for my life, really. But no, this isn’t charity, either. All I’m trying to do is start a conversation and make people think. Just listen to the video, and you’ll understand everything.
To the Nexus staff, I know how this looks, but please give me a chance. I realize that there is a rule against irrelevant and/or advertising forum posts or comments. I beg of you to be lenient and hear me out. I have been in a desperate battle for my life and sanity for a very long time, and no matter how hard I fight, things only get worse, and no one listens or cares. Every time I reach out for help, I am met with cold shoulders, deaf ears, and immediate banning. I realize that this is not the appropriate place for this. Trust me, I’m not blind to that, but I’ve tried the appropriate places and channels for years, and nothing works. Please don’t just tell me to go to Better Help. That’s not what I need. I need this message to be heard, and believe it or not, this is truly the best and only place that might help me spread this message. My mods are the only things I have ever posted online that have gotten any views or attention. It’s the only thing I’ve ever had any amount ofsuccess with. I’m trying this because I’m desperate and it’s a last ditch effort.
However, despite all that, I still wouldn’t ever dare use this platform for such a purpose if I wasn’t a serious mod author. I would never make an account with an ulterior agenda, and I would never dream of posting some bogus, garbage mod just for the purpose of linking this video. That wouldn’t help, anyway, as no one would look at a garbage mod. I am indeed a serious author. I am very passionate about Skyrim modding. In fact, it’s really the only thing keeping me going at the moment. One look at any of my mods should make it abundantly obvious that I am a serious author with a commitment to quality. I would never, ever attempt to commandeer this platform for irrelevant, inappropriate purposes. I make legitimate, quality Skyrim mods that I am proud of. I am taking a great risk to ask this small favor of the community because I am truly desperate, and out of options. I’m terrified to post this, but the feeling of despair and hopelessness of not trying is worse. Please—this place and my mods are everything to me; please allow me to stay. Please, I beg of you, be lenient, give me a chance, and don’t take away the only thing that gives my life purpose anymore. Please, at least do what no one else has been willing to do—listen to the video. Consider my words before taking disciplinary action. Just give me that much.
To the community, please do not post anything whatsoever about the video here. Keep all posts relevant to this mod. I’m not supposed to be doing this as it is, so I can’t have the comment section derailed. Resist the temptation to say anything about the video here. I already have ported this to SE on my load order but it's super simple for anyone to do it, you just need 1 bat file from the CK for SE you can download on steam for free. Thanks for making this too, my Argonian has to use male animations because her build is muscular to the point that female ones look weird, the lay down animation in vanilla really amplified the issue before your fix.
Cool beans. I'm still going to be porting some of my other mods to SE as well, including an up and coming project I'm working on with more types of assets.
Very good mod. Thanks a lot. Please change a few more animations in the default poses. 1st animation - when the character is sitting by the fire, fireplace, the knees are severely deformed (especially the kneecap). If it were possible to correct the anatomical bend of the knee the way it happens in nature. 2nd animation - when the character folds his arms over his chest. The default animation is incorrect. Hands do not fold like in nature. Only the palms are connected, and the elbows stick out raised.
Well, I looked into it, and I think I'm going to pass on this, actually. I'm sorry. I believe I found the fireplace animation you're referring to, and it isn't just one idle, but in fact nine separate animations. I'd have to edit all of them and make them link together seamlessly, and really, it's just too much of a can of worms to open just to tweak the kneecaps a bit. It's just not worth for me.
As for the crossed arm pose, that one is really tricky. From my experience, crossed arms are one of the hardest poses to get right. There isn't a separate male and female variant, so somebody is either going to have clipping or a gap. Of course, one could DAR to control who uses which animation, but honestly, I don't think the vanilla one is all that bad, and it just doesn't feel worth it to me to fiddle with it. I have other things I'd rather turn my attention to. Apologies. Good day, then.

Very nice improvement! Great work! Editing variuos poses and animations I found out the shoulder bones will always look weird in Skyrim from one direction :))... but that vanilla laying pose was really ugly! :B
I didn't know that could be fixed, I thought that was a poor rigging on the mesh! Looks much better compared to vanilla! I wonder if the other "crunchy arms" idles can be fixed too, like the wood chopping animation, or getattention idle?
Oh yeah. Bethesda is great at world building, but they suck at animating. A lot of their stuff is just lazy and sloppy. I'm sure those other animations you mentioned could be improved as well, but I only have so much time.
Thank you so much for this mod. This is a great fix for a rather ugly and weird problem. It and you are appreciated since many of us have no talent for making video game babies (mods). Take care and keep making great stuff. Kudos!

Made my own from scratch including the enter/exit animations. I hate the shoulder deformation. Right shoulder always seem to be the worst.
A lot of Skyrim's vanilla animations were sloppy to begin with. Completely ignored the "Clavicle controller", if they had a rig to start with.

I'd say that You did a great job trying to fix a broken animation. Love your mods including the "Halter Dress".
