This is one of my favorite mods. Why do you only have 6 endorsements, I feel so bad for you.

Because of what your mod has done, I am going to merge it with my upcoming alchemy mod, so to speak. I am going to look at how you edited your ESP.

You have been fully included and introduced in my Alchemy mod. I have been using your mod since it came out and it is because of your modification I was able to make mine, so thank you. Full credit for your idea of removing prefixes and several new names for poisons and potions will be included in my mod, with links to this mods page and links to your profile, as well as any other kinds of links you'd like me to include.

Please contact me if you have any concerns. Once again, thanks. You have no idea how great your mod is.

I could change the term to cordial, or drought instead, to maintain the sorting scheme. I prefer elixir, though.

this is really nice, but one thing I don't get is why are the "elixirs" the bottom tier potions? Shouldn't they be way on top?

At the moment I'm working on integrating crafted and common potion names so they show up next to each other in your inventory. I'm trying to decide which potions get purely functional names and which ones keep their more creative names (i.e. Fortify Two-Handed vs. Berserker's Potion).

Some potions may have to be renamed with a purely functional title just so all variations fit the same naming scheme. On one hand, I'd like to maintain the game's flavor wherever I can, but on the other hand, functional names might make it much easier to quickly find the potion you are looking for.

If anyone has any thoughts on the matter, please let me know!

As xkv4au pointed out, 'pestilent' is an adjective. It will be replaced in version 3 by 'pestilence'. I have also figured out how to remove the 'Potion of/Poison of' prefixes for crafted items, which really opens up the renaming possibilities! If that change works well, I will start considering different names for crafted potions and poisons.
Also I should be able to adjust the cost of crafted potions. Personally I think selling potions make it too easy to earn lots of gold, so I am inclined to cut costs for player created potions.

Kinda funny, two potion rename mods today... This one however, wins with words over roman numerals. now if you could indeed, follow through with the crafted poition name change this would be perfect I'll admit, alot of the time the majority of potions in my bags are crafted. I can't imagine it would be hard though, just rename the targets of certain alchemy craftings and give it like 'Healing potion homemade' or something more fitting you can come up with

Giving them a name based on level of effect I'd imagine would be much more involved if possible at all.

    D/l'ing and plan to endorse

I'll look into the crafting situation, kassarc16, and clean up the file name in the next update--thanks so much for the input!

Will it be possible to rename Alchemy made items? As for naming them, maybe just leave off the type, e.g. just "Damage Health" or "Restore Health".

Also, could you avoid putting version numbers in the filename? It's easier to sort without them.

Many a thesaurus gave their lives for this mod, yes. I'm not 100% happy with all of the terms I settled on, but finding synonyms for poison is harder than it looks!

One term that I really liked, but had to drop was "Bane" It sounds great, but is too cool-sounding to be the lowest level poison. >.<
