Great mod. If anyone wants to make this work for stalhrim deposits as well, I did it by adding the token to the list named DLC2StalhrimMineOreToolsList.

How do you do this? Can you share the edited version of the file if possible? Or is that not allowed?

      Thanks in advance

Simple and effective method here, I like it. Wood chopping axe especially, they are next to woodpiles so often that I wonder why they weren't included like shovels are for smelters in vanilla.

Edit: Er....script? For this small a mod? O_o I'll assume that just does an additem and do it manually...

Edit2: Now I'm getting error messages in my papyrus logs with "QF_aaaTokenQuest" which appear to be related to this mod. Seriously...I thought this was a simple mod, but I guess I was wrong.

Hey, all the script does is automatically add the token to your inventory.

If you are getting an error make sure you have the script in the correct path (Skyrim/Data/Scripts).

If that doesn't help disable the mod, save your game and re-enable it.

      Hope I could help.

    Working for me so far.

For the record, I don't mind carrying the tools. In fact, I still intend to. I think it's a great little system. A few of my characters even have them for primary weapons (not everyone's a warrior.)

BUT: It can be unbearably frustrating and time-consuming just to FIND the #$%^& things!!! Realistically, every camp, household and wanderer should have them and every smith and general merchant should sell them. But if you're in the wrong area, good luck. It ruins immersion and can get get to the point of being outright "broken."

So I'm deeply grateful for a mod that lets me do what every man, woman and responsible child on Nirn can already do, without having to go on an epic quest just to find the tools.

I was going to create a mod that would allow the Dragonborn to strip ore from the veins by way of a custom shout, but I'm lazy, so I'll just use this mod instead. Thanks

This is genious. I've been trying to find a mod that will let ANY axe chop wood since I'm trying to roleplay a ranger type guy who uses axes. But I don't want to carry around two axes. This will solve my problem, so thank you. I'll endorse when my time is up.

    Hey IronRapture,
sorry i havn't answered for some time I don't check Nexus that often anymore.
I tried to make my mod as failsafe is I could, I can only imagine two ways it could have stoped working.

Either the token got deleted (not sure how this could happen, but to fix it disable the mod, make a save, then enable it again).

The other (and more likely option) is that some other mod is editing the mining tools list, make sure my mod is loaded after such mods so mine takes priority. There is no point in adding/removing mining tools from the list if you want to be able to mine without them anyway is there

And thanks a lot for the positive feedback everyone.

Just like ShiroKitaHoshi and no doubt many others I have a bad habit of selling these when I'm trading a lot of gear so this will save me loads of hassle.
Works great with v1.7.7.0 for me.
    Endorsed.

Boy, this is a real relief. Is it strange to see a silver mine, click on it, and literally sigh with relief that I did not have to carry ten pounds of custom gear just to do that?

I REALLY appreciate this mod, and Ill come back after the time delay to endorse it.

    MAHALO!

I can't tell you how many times I accidentally sold my pickaxe and then discovered it was missing much later. This mod prevents headaches for gamers everywhere! Endorsed!
