I'm going to endorse this, as I much prefer this to vanilla. But I'm not actually one hundred percent happy with what this does. Instead of being ambushed by sabre cats and bears and wolves every 50m down the trail, they NEVER attack. I've been stading 2m from a sabre cat listening to him growl and purr and he just stood there looking at me. Same thing with wolves and bears pretty much.

I think the mod could be tweaked a bit so that beasts will still attack, but perhaps just reduce the probability of them attacking by 50% from vanilla?

If' you can point me to the file(s) I'd be happy to tinker around with different settings and suggest something.

Still, much better than having traveling across the map amount to either: (a) fighting a beast every 50 meters or (b) galloping past a dozen encounters with beasts in order to get from one town to the next.

Great mod. I use frostfall with no fast travel/world wait and getting from A to B was getting annoying to the max. This mod does what it says on the tin and works as intended. Also, this mod doesn't interfere with my extended list of other mods. Well done, endorsed.

    Hi.
This issue may caused by lack of master-file.

If you use ASIS ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18436 ) or Bashed Patch or any mod, please check these mods master-file list in Wrye Smash(or other tools).
If these mods use Passive Beast.esp as master, you have to re-install these mods after unchecking Passive Beast.esp.

Hello, Lerner. This mod has been very useful for me, thank you very much!
but, I uninstalled it for personal reasons today. After that, My game CTDs at title screen.
I re-installed it and NO CTDs. I re-uninstalled it, and CTDs again.
I re-re-installed it, and unchecked esp box, and NO CTDs. I re-re-uninstalled it, and CTDs again.
I don't know WHY. I installed & uninstalled it by NMM. Could you help me? (My english is poor, Sorry!)

    @Zimitry
    Thank you for your comment.
I think animals can feel who we are. (And can feel the dragon blood).
    ...maybe...XP

Anyway this MOD does not pursue perfect reality.
I just want to be immersed in the game without being interfered with by the noisy animals/beasts.

Good idea, but it becomes unreal if animals fled as you pass as if they knew you were the BAMF dovahkiin. Normally animals stand against a being as big or smaller than them, or due to other circumstances, they can't see a level. So, passive animals that attack when feeling threatened or starving is needed, but to have them run away as soon as you get close is annoying (maybe that's my pacifist, nature lover preference, since I'm also passive).

Sad to say, but this simple mod is about as realistic as it gets in terms of animal behavour! Predators in a land of plenty like Skyrim want nothing to do with dangerous primates like us. The only recommendation I would make is that the herbivore creatures such as deer and rabbits flee more quickly, so that you never get very close to them (I'm getting a bit tired of tripping over rabbits). It would make hunting a bit more challenging and fun. I'd also make the wolves and bears slink away rather than stand around when the player approaches.
