hello! I love this mod but once i completed my sword and shield playthrough i wanted to try some others, specifically elder souls animations. however, the animations from this mod are still the ones in game for 1 handed weapons shield or no shield. i uninstalled this mod, reran nemesis, and even checked in the game data folder to make sure these anims werent there. any tips or help?
Hmm not sure, if you're using SkySA and nemesis it should work I think. This mods requires SkySA so the name of the animations can be read correctly, or they would need to be renamed to work.
i managed to get the base game animations back somehow by deleting some file i dont remember, but then i ran nemesis again and these ones are back lol i have no idea whats going on
so this conflicts with DAR? My character seems be in a t pose or in a really awkward animation even when attacking, I have SkySA and DAR could DAR be the issue here?
Hmm likely not, I like the way SkySA works and it's a main part of my own skyrim's combat, and I usually make the animations so I can play with them xD
That's fair. I honestly don't use it so I was just asking because you have good animations I can use with my DAR custom animations lol. Keep up the good work!
This will sound dumb but do you have an idea/suggestion on how to fix npcs having slowmo when using SkySA explained for dummies,im too dumb to do it and i dont know how to fix it since i dont know where to put the original skyrim animations when i used Hkanno and i really want to have npcs be on normal speeds
I believe the SkySA page has a fix for it, on my end, I just deleted the animations that come with SkySA mod and that seemed to work...ok...haven't tested it enough, but I would say best to look into SkySA page.
From the way I packaged it and how SkySA uses it, it's mainly for player. But if you wanted to take some of the animations and place them on NPC, it could be possible maybe? not sure how to go on about doing that myself though.
Unfortunately this is made specifically using SkySA 1.8 behaviors, which allows the animations to have their own movement and built in data. It's possible to potentially use the animations with DAR or other mods by renaming them, but they will likely not move the same and potentially not function/combo in the same way. In the SE version of this mod, there are some posts about potentially being able to rename and use the animations with other mods, you can check there to see what can be done to get it to work with DAR/other mods.
