This could well be a good mod, so I'm gonna download.
However, are you sure that you've got Swords and stuff like that right? Last I checked a Medieval (sort of) Sword was a 100KG lump of metal, which of course was best used for beating people with rather than cutting or stabbing, they were also really blunt... (Hue hue hue).
p.s (pls get the joke, I know it's bad but still. )
Just a friendly reminder to everyone - after installing this mod, you can further tweak any item's weight you want from inside the game using another mod called Customizable Weights. ______________ Kaemon Skyrim GEMS
@sp3ctrexl I will see about doing something like that actually, I understand what you mean.
@Virrey Honestly when I first made this mod I did it thinking a weight unit in Skyrim was a pound, just really unrealistic. But as I've heard more and more comments like your own I just don't know, I guess the only way to find out is by asking Bethesda.
i like the mod but everything is too light now. i understand that you gave everything true weights but it 'breaks the game' because your player can carry 400 weight easily. decreasing the weight by 40-50% wouldve been perfect. a daedric warhammer that used to weight 32 that now weighs 10 means you can tote around a whole caravan worth of goods to sell. can you bump the weight up a tiny bit or make a separate file please.
What your thoughts of the weight units in Skyrim? How much is a unit of weight in Skyrim? 300 Pounds is a bit much for anyone to carry around. 300 Kilograms is way to much as well. Maybe it's even smaller, like 7 Skyrim Units is 1 pound? 300/7 = 43 ibs 43 ibs = 20 kg +5 every Stamina Point = 0.7 ibs / 0.3 kg
Carrying around 20 kg isn't too unrealistic, but running is a different story I guess.
