I really wish that this would work because it would be the easiest way to have a riding follower.
Actually this mod is not working for the most of the times and leaves many Shadowmere's copies all over the place.Many time is not working at all,some times makes a copy(with no effect of summoning) but follower won't ride(although the new horse is following you all the time),and a very few times it will work (though the follower will simply walk to ride the horse)..
I moved the .pex files to the script folder... disabled, enabled Shadowmere....saved,loaded... but its still not working..any help please ? this mod looks very fine and amazing.. i want it so bad
idk if im the only one or not but i tried this mod along with many other mods to get a horse for your follower and though they work for me they dont at the same time...because NONE of them will allow my dear sweet cicero to ride a horse =( does anyone know of one that works with cicero or could we maybe make it so he can ride shadowmeres shade? PLEASE D= makes me sad having to watch cicero get left in the dust
Works well, the only issue is that Shadowmere's Shade attacked my follower during a fight. I mounted and it stopped, so it's not a big game breaker. Can you make him passive in combat? I am using Oblivious Horses mod, maybe if i load that after your mod?
I looked all over the place for a mod that would let my companion ride a horse, and so many of them didn't work or clashed with other mods I refused to part with. This is brilliant and it works perfectly!! It's all I wanted, thank you. <3<3<3
(Note: Don't install this with NMM, it'll put the files in the wrong place. I had to move the script files to the script folder manually afterwards to make it work.)
I have tried this mod and it is way better than faffing around trying to find where your companion horse has wandered off too as in other horse mods, it works great with the horse whistle mod - whistle your horse you automatically mount an boom shadowmeres shade for your companion - perfect.
and the only companion horse mod that works with this is tradable companion gear (TCG) although there is a lot of messing around with console commands to get the horses and to find them again.
If you could get this to work with the multi companion mod I'm sure it would get into the top 10! The companions are alias:0, alias:1 etc. and i'm sure it is not beyond someone with your exertise to do it
