    ***UPDATE***

    A bit of an update that adds a bit more content:

    -The golden version of the armor has been renamed "Golden Armor of the Arbiter." It has identical stats to the regular version, and can be crafted with the original set and gold bars.

    -A new armor has been added, called the "Armor of the Kaidon." This has been heavily modified to match the new armor that the Arbiter wears in Halo 5. This version is heavy armor and built for battle, not stealth.

    -I learned how to use OutfitStudio! This means I was able to heavily customize the helmet and get it much closer to the shape of the real Arbiter's helmet. I am very happy with how it turned out!

    *UPDATE 3.1*

    Decided to revisit this and do a few little updates:

    >Fixed the scaling of the Kaidon Armor (apparently I just had two _0 models) so no more skinny arm!

    >Fixed the wrist gap issue.

    >Added two new armor schemes: One is a super-shiny polished chrome version, and the other is a bronze-tinted version similar to the armor in Halo 3.  I also adjusted the vanilla armor to be closer to the Halo 2 tint.  They can each be crafted from the original armor.

    >Added "Vanguard" swords and shields that are a crimson color.

    >Adjusted some shield and sword textures.

    >Added "Heavy" energy shields that are much larger and wrist-mounted.

    >Made the Arbiter a follower.  He uses vanilla dialogue, so it's not very exciting, but he IS a fully-functional follower.

    Well this one sorta got away from me...  Was just going to re-do the Kaidon Helmet, but ended up adding a ton of new content.

    -Reworked Kaidon Helmet to feel more bulky and menacing.  (Using the Orc helmet as a base.)
    -Reworked the cloak mesh so that it sits perfectly underneath the pauldron.
    -Added a fancy cloak version that is more of a formal cape.
    -Arbiter armor is now available in Original (Steel), Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Polished Gold versions.
    -Kaidon armor is now available in Original (Gold), Painted, and Polished Gold versions.
    -Added a second type of shield, closer to the Halo 1 style with a bite out of both sides.
    -Added a full range of energy weapons of every weapon type, taken from various sources of Halo lore (and some made up.)
    -All energy weapons are available in Blue, Gold, and Red.
    -Added a number of other Sangheili weapons.
    -Added a Needler-crossbow that fires explosive crystal bolts.
    -Added a one-handed Needler crossbow (a staff, technically) that fires a barrage of needles.
    -Added a plasma weapon (a staff, technically) that fires a ball of plasma that causes paralysis and damage.
    -Added two sets of standard Sangheili armor, both light and heavy, and a few different helmet styles.
    -Moved the Arbiter into the Windhelm Dock Warehouse, and changed the warehouse to public so you can enter without trespassing.  
    -Added two guards with the Arbiter who are also available as followers.
    -Added a lore book to give a little background on the Sangheili Tribe.
    -Everything can now be crafted from scratch, or in the case of gold/red versions upgraded from the blue versions.

    *UPDATE 5.0*

    -Adds a number of additional helmet types and a few different armor variants.
    -Adds craftable armor color "coatings" based on rank: Blue, Red, Purple, White, Gold.  Any Sangheili armor can be coated.  Coatings require the original steel version.
    -Adds a "Carbine" rifle that fires bolts of energy.
    -You must read a book on Sangheili smithing techniques before you can create coatings or energy weapons.
    -Adds three Elite boss fights, hidden in random locations throughout the world.
    -Adds two additional followers based on the playable characters in Halo 3: N'tho 'Sroam (Blue) and Usze 'Taham (Red).
    -Adds a brief shield ability when wielding the Force (Gravity) Hammer.
    -Adds a night vision ability to the Assault Helmet.
    -Adds a tracking vision ability to the Ranger Helmet.
    -Adds a spell when wearing the Kaidon Cloak (any version) to summon a loyal Swords of Sangheilios warrior.
    -Adds Mgalekgolo (Hunters) and the ability to summon them using a scroll, both armored & unarmored.
    -The Arbiter once again actually wears his armor, but I did it in a way that you can still take the armor if he's a follower (or you can kill him.)
    -Made a better energy arrow; this one only activates when it is fired, and causes a small electrical explosion on impact.
    -A large number of tweaks and edits to existing armors and weapons.
    -Tweaked a bunch of textures to make everything look better.

    Textures don't load, Arby is invisible and Rtas is a red error sign. Uninstalled and reinstalled so not sure what the issue is.

    could you upload an optional version which doesn't effect the tail because an argonian without his/her tail is like a khajiit without their ears or a dragon

    Wanted to drop a Thank you here for this armor too! I'm coming from the Spartan mod and this is soooo awesome! You're absolutely right about Argonians being a good in-game comparison to the Elites.  It works great and I love how you put it into practice! Awesome mod, Thank you for making it!

    Nice armor, i would love to use this in my mod but i'm almost done with my project after 5+ years.

    The bug that sometimes the stealth enchantments stops working is caused by adding a condition to the spell/enchantment, conditions are checked by the game engine every second and at some point they just stop working, this is caused by the same engine bug that affects conditional abilities called "Active effect time imprecision bug".

    The workaround to this is to run the condition and the spell/enchantment/fx of the armor throw a quest, you add the player in an alias and in the alias you check with "OnEquip" or "OnObjectEquip" for the armor and then the alias runs the condition "IsSneaking", once the alias condition is checked then the quest can run your spell/enchantment/fx of the armor, this way the fx will never fail and it will always run.

    For some reason, none of the armor or equipment is visible. It is there but I can't see it. It made The Arbiter invisible except for his head and after killing him and equipping it on myself, I became invisible except for my head. I'm not sure if putting the mod at the top or bottom of the load order will help fix this problem or not. Or downloading the mod manually since I found it in the game. I'll test to see if either of these work.

      That sounds like an installation problem, since it's not loading/finding the meshes.  I would try uninstalling and re-downloading and see if that works for you.

      I'm having the same problem with it not showing the meshs. The items exist but they are "invisible" as you said. I think its a possibility that its conflicting with another mod. I put top of my list after the skyrim unofficial patch and naruto mod. I will experiment with order again to see if I there is a solution. If you guys figure it out let me know please!

      Huh.  I don't know what it could possibly conflict with; it's a completely independent set of armor.  Do you have any kind of weird body mods or skeleton changes maybe?

      I am also having this same issue. I'm currently trying to figure out what is causing it. Has anyone else figured it out?

      Update: the only mod I have installed is this one and I'm still having the same issue. I've redownloaded a couple times with no luck. Any suggestions?

      Sooo, this armor is for male only ?  or for female as well ?   couldn't read anything in the description, ( but assume its male only ) ..
      If its male only , ( since only males wore it in halo )  might be why couple are having not showing issues , trying to wear it on a female , maybe ?

    I love the look of this armor, it's rare to find stuff that fits Argonians.
    I'd love a heavy version of it, but i might try out light armor for a bit

    this is rather awesome :3 the only thing i am a bit 'O.o' about is the fact that the shield has that massive hole, which visually doesn't seem to protect anything.

      The shields in the game has a little bite out of them that are used to shoot through. This is the closest thing I could find.

      There is a One handed crossbow mod here on the Nexus. I wonder if it would combine with this shield and let you fire through it.

      Can you use a staff while your shield is up? I think that's how the one-handed crossbow works.
