Just being able to have the wedding ring not take up the ring slot was amazing, but this looks so good in game. Even though it's such a tiny thing, I still feel like this is how it should have been.
Thanks, as far as I know Left hand rings Modified uses slot 51 for that particular spot (left hand ring finger) could be different for the bond of matrimony of of that mod, honestly I didn't check if it edit this ring in any way. To avoid clipping issues and have it compatible with LHRM and my skyring (etc.) mods is using slot 51 not 50.
Thanks, I guess you plan to replace the ring without esp. Already explained this. It uses the generic gold ring nif. If you replace it you only get the male version (for male and female), as well as all gold rings, replaced. That's why I edited the game file with an esp. Sorry, I know esp slots are rare, all I can tell you is to edit another esp which you always use and edit the bond there. That's what I did for myself.

If I didn't use your esp, would the meshes and textures still work in game? I'm not worried about accidentally disenchanting the rings (the keyword you added), if I made a mistake and accidentally did that, I'd probably just console in a new one or revert to an old save.
To try to answer my own question, it looks like they won't work without the esp, due to the folder structure.
Have you or would you consider a simple mesh/texture replacer, or is that not an option? If not, I may have a hand at modifying it for personal use, if I can find the right files to overwrite.
Thanks, mate. Sadly that isn't an option unless you want to have all gold rings replaced. Even then it would only replace the male version (inventory item/displayed model) I wanted to have the replacer exactly the way it is, which isn't possible without editing the game files, sorry.
No need to be sorry about it, I didn't realize the vanilla wedding ring was just a generic gold ring. Now that I know that, it makes total sense why you did what you did.

Locket of Saint Jiub, Viola's Ring, this one, the Winterhold college stuff (Yisra's Necklace, Ilas-Tei's Ring, Savos Aren's Amulet and Mage's Circlet) and Vittoria's Wedding Band. If everything is working I'll release them here.
