Very nice house with immersive design. Only thing bothering me was the amount of lights. I would have gone with maybe 3 well placed ones instead. Problem is that even if you disable the candles, the light from them of course stays behind.
I still love this small house and used it for a long, long time even with my high level chars cause I'm no fan of these oversized and overcluttered player homes. After all I sadly removed it because there's only one essential feature I'm missing: an enchanting table (maybe instead of the mannequin). Since in Riverwood noone is providing an enchanting possibility I had to walk on.
This is the best cottage i ve ever lived in Thank you very much for this mod...Im planning to RP with this at sometime..Really lovely i cant say anythin more.
Brilliant mod, I've followed your work for a long time and I just felt the need too thank you for this wonderful home. It's cosy and makes a wonderful home for my Khajiit Jeweller. She prefers Riverwood due to Alvor's forge and the near by mine... Basically useful for my shameless roleplay needs.
Thank-you for the wonderful comments everyone I appreciate your support. Very happy to here you're enjoying Thistle Cottage.
To Sonja: The wreath is a static object and it's not part of the door, so it does look odd seeing the wreath floating there when the door opens when entering the house. Maybe not my best decision when designing the Cottage, but I really wanted a wreath on the door.
This is a really nice, well thought out, starter home. It has a great, cozy, lived-in feel, and I typically imagine it to be a place provided for use by either of the two families you meet upon following Hadvar/Ralof. I tend to RP that a relative had passed away and left the cottage in their hands. I actually like the in-game abodes, but it's great to have a homey location to store items and settle into once you escape Helgen. Just one observation, the wreath on the front door stays in the air rather than moving with the door when you open it. I figure, it's always possible this is something unique to my setup, but I am running with a scant 8 mods, none of which should impact yours, as far as I can guess anyway. Regardless, it's hardly a big deal, just something I thought you might like to know. Will endorse once I can. It seems that I originally downloaded this without being logged in, so just DL'ed it again.

Otherwise top notch design, and recommended!
Thank you!
