These are a lore race, not something the mod author made up. Read the 2920 series in-game, it describes a Kothringi character whose skin is reflective, like liquid metal. Their skin is metallic in a scaly, fish-like way, not like automatons at all. They went extinct due to the Thrassian plague, in the 2nd era, just before the events of TESO.
This mod appears to be dead, but I"m offering some feedback anyway. I like the look of the skin, but there is a glaringly obvious neck seam that ruins it. If you are still out there, maybe you could find a way to fix that. It would greatly improve the mod.
This looks very cool, but a blue glow coming through the cheekbones seems kind of weird, I don't have any other face mods happening so I'm not sure what this is... Still, I reallylike the skill loadout and the abilities, as well as the overall look.

I too have the 1.4 update and the game crashes always
Don't you have the 1.4 update installed? Maybe this could be the reason of the crashing.
