HI, love the house. How do I light the living room fireplace? I have buried three torches in both fireplaces for now and it looks great.

My front door is folded in half and off to one side. Can you offer some advice? The home is absolutely awesome. I use three torches to give flame to the fireplaces using Jaxonz, looks great. Thank you for the outstanding mod.

NVM, I was able to repair the door using Jaxonz.

The floor is missing for me so once I enter the house I fall into gamer oblivion.

Having used this mod for two weeks now, I thought it worth adding a few more comments concerning my experience to date.

I still find this house to be a very attractive and imaginative replacement for Breezehome, and the author's work in creating a spacious house that feels like a livable home is excellent. It is definately a keeper for me, I have found one or two relatively minor issues though, although they didn't detract significantly from the overall feel for me.

The nav mesh continues to perform well on the whole, although my followers do occasionally get temporarily stuck in places, but at least not by trying to walk through walls anymore. There is a place in the kitchen however, where at night one of my followers will sometimes go to sleep as if on a bed, but floating two feet off the floor! Something left over from the original navmesh? I know little about navmeshing. I guess I should learn someday.

The kitchen had the most issues. My character's head would become stuck in the fireplace mantlepiece when using the cooking pot. I have solved this in my own case by moving the pot and the burning fire forward. Whilst doing so I noticed that the wall was misaligned so I corrected that as well.

Lighting is good on the whole and I like a house that you aren't stumbling about in half-light and/or strange colour shadings, but it can be a little uneven in places. As a result some paintings are over-lit. I have replaced a couple.

I decided to dismiss one of my followers and recruit Lydia. She rarely visits her own room now, but wanders around the house the same as my others.

I've offered some of my personal screenshots (subject to approval), some of which reflect my personal additions such as the chairs and 2 mannequins.

Sorry, a bit occupied by work lately to go to nexus. Glad that you enjoy the house. For the kitchen, it's a esthetic choice to hide the support of the pot. On Lydia, i checked that she moved on the house but not her bedding. I adopted four childrens and they move freely, but with some weirdness (repetitive exit and staying upright in their bed), and I don't know if it come from my mod or the mutliple adoption mod, or a conflict beetween.

Checked and approved your screenshot. Hope it will encourage others to modify this house and made it their very personal home

Think I found the trouble with navmesh. It seems that even if you delete the navmesh, Hearthfire made it persistent, so there is two navmesh
wich confuse the NPC. I edited the Hearthfire navmesh to adapt it to the house, so hopefully it will solve the trouble in 1.4 version. I corrected also the cooking pot

A very attractive and roomy Breezehome replacement, and something very different. Congratulations and thank you. I like the fact it isn't cluttered.

I have been experiencing a couple of problems however. As mentioned elsewhere, the navmesh could do with some attention; e.g. my followers spend much of their idling time when downstairs trying to walk through the wall separating the staircase from the main room, often successfully. [FIXED]

I am also unable to turn on any of the fires, although I have no problem in turning the water on and off. It could be a conflict at my end I suppose, if no-one else is experiencing that.

I would have liked to have endorsed it, but that option is missing, even though I have had the mod for four days.

(Yeah, I know, I'm replying to my own post; but things have progressed somewhat, so this is an update) ;)

The navmesh issue seems to have fixed itself. My followers no longer try to walk through walls or get stuck, but now successfully navigate all three floors and both stairs without any problems. It is as if they have learned to find their way around their new house. They also use all of the chairs, including a small number I have added. I've been careful to not obstruct the open areas or circulation space with these additions, but as I have four followers based in the house, I needed some more. I welcome the fact that the house is spacious enough to allow me to make these small personal adjustments.

Lydia isn't one of my followers. She spends most of her time in her room, but she does venture out into the rest of the house on occasions.

I haven't been able to solve the problem with the fires so far, and I haven't identified any potential conflict. I suspect a bug. I intend to keep looking as I would like the fires to be lit. If anybody has any clues about this issue, they would be welcomed. I note the mod author hasn't visited the Nexus since early July.

With the navmesh now working well, I'm enjoying this version of Breezehome even more. It is something different from the norm without being outlandish. It also encouraged me to play the Clockwork Castle mod, which was excellent and very enjoyable.

Having not made progress with the fires, I decided to build my own permanently-on replacement fires with the aid of Jaxonz Positioner.

I've been playing the version in my current playthroughs and so far so good. But I think all that it's missing is navmeshes. Because, for example housecarl is permanently stuck in her room near her bed, she can't leave. While NPC's on first floor only ever go to sit in the basement near the pool or go to the crafting room, none sit on the chairs in the living room first floor.

Unable to duplicate your bugs. From the forum lydia seems to be buggy anddoften stuck in her room. Try with the console to select her, then go downstair and type moveto player. Hopefully, it will solve the bug, else you can try the mod freeroam housecarl. For the npc, i seldom have one inside but they use the chairs on first floor.

Forgot to mention. Your mod makes Honeyside player home inaccessible from Riften's side, the door edit only allows them to open/close but not actually enter the home, so you have to go around outside the city.

Can you use this mid game or do you need to start a new one?

You can perfectly use it midgame, but there is some caution to take, and maybe a few annoyance. First, take all that you have stored in Breezehome and leave the house, as i have entirely erased the old house nothing will be kept, then save, exit and load my mod. For the annoyance, which tinalista mentionned, you will find some furniture (a cupboard and a plaque) that you must destroy using the console code markfordelete, as i assume you purchased the upgrades. Then enjoy.

Lots of clipping, incompatible furniture/walls from other mods in the house. Namely from unofficial skyrim patch and destructible skyrim. Could you make a few patches? Otherwise well done. Simple and elegant.

I use unofficial high resolution patch without incompatibility. Don't know how to patch my mod for destructible skyrim. There is two chairs in the dining room and candle in the housecarl bedroom right ? I don't succeed to find them neither in Creation kit nor TES5edit. The only solution i can suggest is to be ride of them with the console and the code markfordelete.
By the way, a new version with far less clipping is done.

As i don't use NMM, can't say why, maybe an element that i only partially delete. If it works, don't bother, if not use the Bethesda way.
