Literally, through lore the Ebony Blade never had any other name than that, and if you disliked how it t'was in Skyrim (which is the shittiest Elder Scrolls game of the main series) please, just play Oblivion.
would it be possible to make it in to a sword,in the lore it is sometimes a one handed sword and ofcourse others times a two handed sword. the reason why i bring it up i because i want to play a mephala themed character but with a sword and a shield because i dont like any other combat style.
That's actually a really good point about the Ebony Mail. I think I'll work on changing that to a light armor for anyone who is interested. Problem is that unlike the Ebony Blade/Dagger, I can't think of a light armor equivalent for Ebony Mail. I'll play around and see what I can do.
You'd have to load this mod AFTER Stronger Daedric Artifacts. That mod makes changes to the Ebony Blade to fix it as a Two-Handed weapon. As I say in the description, the vanilla Ebony Blade was classed as and had the stats of a One-Handed weapon. My mod keeps some of those stats while actually changing it to a dagger. I did increase the crit damage/chance to be in line with other daggers, but the base damage still pretty much the same as the original. In line with other daggers. So, it should be fine if you load my mod after Stronger Daedric Artifacts. Of course, you also won't benefit from the changes made by that mod to the Ebony Blade. All other artifact changes will apply just fine.
I'll open both mods in game and play around with them just to be certain, but there shouldn't be any problem.
I remember seeing this in the CK and just figured it was already working. It might be misapplied by default. If that's the case, I'll update my version to include the same ability.

Its a reward for the Daedric quest where you normally get the Ebony Blade. Learn to read retard.

It makes no sense to sneak around silently wearing heavy armor (Ebony Mail) and a two-handed weapon (Ebony Blade), so Thank You!
