Two things - firstly, ignore my earlier comment about the weight - I was responding to an earlier comment saying the weight was 23. Actually it's 2.. and whereas earlier I said a higher weight would be more realistic, I've changed my mind; I want to hoard too much to want realism
I've been using the mod for a week or so now, and really like it. There are other more complete camping kit mods out there, but I haven't had any urge to try them because this works just fine. Simple and effective.
But two minor requessts/bugs:
1. Please could you make the bed roll favouritable? That's the only annoyance at the moment - I can't put it on my favourite list (it says "Item cannot be a favourite" or something similar.)So I have to go into my full inventory to find it. Not a huge deal, but I make lots of use of Categorized Favourites Menu so it'd be great to have it on there.
2. I found a bug related to giving the bed roll to your follower. I was over-encumbered, so I started a conversation with my follower and chose "Trade items.." and Gave my bed roll to her.
Later I looked and I found that we BOTH had one - so it looks like Giving it actually duplicates it, giving one to the follower without removing one from your own inventory.
I ended up taking hers back and dropping one of mine so I only had one again.
I remember there was a bedroll in Fallout New Vegas: Big Empty DLC that weighed 10 lbs. No magical autopickups for that one of course :-) This mod looks very similar, and I found it very useful as a vampire - just tell a companion to sleep on the bedroll and you have yourself a fine meal.
I disagree with the previous comment saying 23 is too heavy. When I was thinking about a bed mod, thinking that there should be one, my first thought was "it should be quite heavy."
Otherwise it's going to mess with game balance - the game expects you to only be able to sleep in certain places. I definitely think that it should be possible to sleep anywhere (quite unrealistic not to be able to), but there needs to be a cost associated with that. And a proper bedroll / sleeping materials would definitely be heavy and bulky to carry around.
To those who find it heavy - remember The Steed Stone, very useful to increase carry limits. And I personally always have a pair of "Brawn" boots that increase my carrying capacity by another 40.
hi, I have downloaded your mod and i most probably will use, sine i´m also using basic human needs and i don´t want to be caught somewhere not being able to find a place to sleep. But, although i understand the reason you say about its weigh (considering the weigh of the materials it´s made of) still i think 23 is a bit too heavy. What do you think? is it possible to make it lighter?

my character's inventory count 3/4 bedrolls
one for her and one for each follower, with UFO she has permanently 3 followers and sometimes more.
she left bedrolls to places where she return regulary and craft some others..
one regret.. followers can't use their own bedroll put in their inventory.
I you are over-encoumbered, try the mod Ring of Himalayan Hauling.

or change the weight with a mod editor.

Thanks again for the very useful mod!
