His expression is great. You know, I've always had the belief that the more realistic the game looks the better it feels like to play (so I was always on the lookout for realistic ENB config). But ever since I switched to your config, realism seems a whole lot less appealing.

Curious to see what you think... I'm on the fence about it myself. It's pretty much the last thing that I'm still actively trying to improve beyond just fiddling.

Yeah, that would be nice. I'm going to try out the bokeh you've sent me with your config to see how yours looks in-game.

I don't like heavy chroma at all... Makes the background look like a shower of gold coins if done badly. What I like is the bokeh/lens blur effect as opposed to the "vaseline seared on my glasses" gaussian-style blur. My DoF does suffer from what you describe: intermediate objects lose clarity, but just enough to make them look bad, but more distant background has a nice balance between the smoother blur and the clumpier bokeh look. I guess it'd be easier to post an example, huh?

Well, as I've said... I kind of like this DoF, because it works nicely with edges (some DoF can give horrible straight edges, with no fading) and it has a smooth range of blurring. I'm not making myself clear here. It doesn't use chroma or bokeh dof, nor does it have brightness limiting... so I really want to try and replicate a lot of this in Matso's 3.0.0 DoF. I've not seen the advantage of chroma DoF by the way. What makes you like it?

Getting the right DoF is tricky. I keep upping the bokeh and damping down the chroma in my DoF... looks better than just going with a crazy heavy gaussian-style blur but without the shower of sparks effect. The only problem is intermediate-depth objects look a bit pants.

What you've got here looks amazing for the distant terrain... how does it work with the mid-distance stuff?

This looks almost like it could be from a scene in a movie. Unbelievably realistic!
