May I ask, are you planning on doing the Blacksteel Katana, or perhaps Alonne's Bewitching Sword? They are like the Carthus weapons in my opinion, not getting enough recognition despite being beautiful (and quite fun).
eheh...eheheh..that pun though.
You see, I dont like the idea of creating a two handed version of a weapon that would be one handed(of course that does not apply to Dark Souls because of gameplay, but forSkyrim.) same goes for two handed weapons.
I wasnt expecting the amount of detail specifically on the blade, i would imagine a draugr using this

I was gonna make all metal, but then I realised it would be better to make a wood grip to create kinda a contrast with the rest of the piece, and I also went for a very worn wood texture to make it look older. ^^
