Many thanks, Izzy!
This particular set describes the travel from Skyrim to Hammerfell, so we're brought to many different places including the Imperial City Prison in Cyrodiil, Coldharbour and a few more. It does have a very mystic vibe to it and once you're through this "passage", the sand dunes of the Alik'r Desert awaits you...
It's one of the biggest quests out there and it's also bringing you to a distant Hammerfell and the Alik'r Desert. Visiting exotic places are among the coolest thing you can do within a game and this mod is perfectly merged with Skyrim too, so it's able to travel between Hammerfell and Skyrim once you get there.
If you're going to try this mod, you should know it's meant for a rogue/thief character, but of course anyone can try - although it might be a bit harder or less rewarding!
A masterpiece.
I'd say it's mostly because some of these places - or all of them - are rare and this makes it a lot more interesting. As I said to Erwin, it's actually a bit of a gain not having played all these older quest mods, now when I'm able to visit them with a nice ENB installed...
It's really a marvellous quest so far too, so I easily get inspired while I travel through these unknown halls and places. I'm happy I can bring some of the magic back with me!
I've built quite a pile here on my PC with mods to try out, yet I tend to just travel around in Skyrim. This game is truly marvellous!
So is this quest mod - The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal". It's so different with the settings and I for one love visiting the deserts of Hammerfell. It's so different compared to the snow and cold of Skyrim and I have so many characters actually suitable for such a warm place.
This quest starts in Skyrim by you stealing something and it's aimed towards a rogue/thief character. You're then sent on a search in The Reach and later on sent to a "maze of trials". When you finished this part, you arrive in Hammerfell with a more open world. You're even able to travel back and forth between Skyrim and Hammerfell in case you want to save som side quests for later or build yourself stronger. I love such quests/new lands that are completely merged with the original worldspace...
You're welcome to follow my foosteps in the heating sand, my dear! Maybe I'll be waiting in some oasis?
It's one of the biggest quest/new land-mods out there and I've managed to "stay away" from it this long! I had this installed even when playing Vanilla, but something tellls me I should be grateful for waiting with playing it until I got the ENB rig.
I have many other "old massive" quest left to do too, so I wouldn't be too surprised if I start a few of them over anytime soon. I also need to finish Beyond Reach where I actually have a character at the moment...
