    The plot thickens ! I don't blame the companions being furious for being banned from their own homes after it was burnt to the ground and some of their shield-brother/sister were butchered. Well nothing like killing a bunch of vampire to feel better ! Once again, I think the rage Eorlund is feeling is rather justify in a way, losing so many of his family and worst of all..his own children. Though they are all victim of some dark conspiracy ( darn those thalmor !!)

      It does! A lot of rage as they were beginning to deal with what had happened. They were the only survivors, but at least the five of them are capable of rebuilding possibly. It was certainly a dark conspiracy, but as with most stories, there is always a chance at redemption someday

    Well ,.. not before sunday,.. but managed to read it before two O'clock mid day,...
    Really geat shots in this chapter,.. I fully agree with Patrick on the werewolf shots at night. They came out great,.. Like you mentioned ,.. the Falme eye did a great job there,..
    Great summary of all the events that have past,. I enjoyed reading it,..

      Thanks! The Falmer Eye is the only one I actually use regularly, the rest of them I have not found a good use for. Well, the garnet is pretty good at being similar to the light cast by fire but I tend to use torches for that. If you manage to have a place that is completely dark like those shots were, then these gems are extremely useful.

    Great chapter Wade and I must say, all the night shots with the werewolfs are some of the best I've ever seen. Incredible detail.

      Thanks! All credit for the night shots goes to the SS Assist tools mod, most importantly, the falmereye gem which was responsible for the nice lighting when it was completely dark.

    Great wrap-up of what happened after. Pretty slick idea to have them join the Dawnguard. They aren't the Vigil after (not to mention they use trolls which are a form of monster). Besides who better to fight Vampires then their bitter enemies the werewolves

    All the battle plans sound cool as well - much more strategic writing than I ever did as I am rather poor at it. Not that I am cheering for the Thalmor by any means but is cool seeing how they are making their war plans.

    Seems Jon was a true-blood after all and loyal to his beloved. A small bit of good in the rest of the evil going on. Some great looking shots to go with the story as well.

      Thanks! I'm still not entirely sure on the level of commitment the Companions will have with the Dawnguard, mostly due to a few details in the future that I have not decided on yet. For now, it is a good fit considering what comes in the Dawnguard quest line.

      The Thalmor may have defeated the Empire, but they still did not have the strength to outright finish off the world of man. They lost to the Redguards in one on one combat after the fact as well. This time they need to do things differently. I'm not a fan of them either but they would certainly be wise enough to learn from their previous mistakes and try new things.

      Then again, who knows what certain parties are actually planning

      I did not find any in-game evidence that Jon knew about the kidnapping at all. I have read that he may have known but playing the quest I did not come across it so that influenced the direction I went with it. And yes, a little bit of good for all the nasty happening around them.

    So much turmoil in the old alliances and new ones arisen, you are depicting a perfect setup of a full grown civil war, exceptional work Wade you make here. Dawnguard and Companions, pulling this one off is of the most interesting, while there is a possible one between Silver Hand and Vampires, this could be quite explosive, these two groups may reserve so many surprises, having their own agendas and pushing the Jarls to some difficult and uncontrollable situations, the Empire and the Cloaks will be highly busy.

      Those Thalmor are busy shaping the war for their benefit. The Silver Hand are completely dead now, as they all died invading Jorrvaskr. The eventual fight between the Dawnguard and the Volkihar Vampires will be quite good as well, even though that is still quite a few chapters away.

      Shalanna does earn the name Puppet Master with what she is planning. Pyjaks! I miss playing Mass Effect, may need to remedy that one day
