Always such a nice read ! You sure have a very special way with words my friend! The way you describe scenery makes it that we almost feel there as well with the characters. It's just enough of descriptions to be able to get a very clear and precise picture but not too much as to drown us in details. Just the perfect balance.

A great chapter all around !..though it's always a plus to mess with Elenwen

I am very happy you enjoyed the read and that you find I have a way with words my friend ^^ I really try to share how they saw that scenery through those descriptions, they would surely welcome your company on their adventures ;-) Glad to hear I have struck a good balance with my descriptions.

Thanks a bunch, Lia, it is indeed always a bonus to mess with that arrogant Elenwen

I always enjoy the atmospheric tones of your writing. I always draws the reader in.
You're also doing a fantastic job of managing this small army!

I also love to see Elenwen's plans foiled!!
    Great set Kami!

I do like to write about those little details that make up the atmosphere of a place, I am really glad you enjoy that aspect of my writing, that it draws one in. Hehe, they are quite the group but I am getting used to managing them in shots

An arrogant one like Elewen does deserve to have her plans foiled, it certainly amused Edrelle and her friends
Thank you very much, Aok ^^

I'm really late with reading your story exactly, but I need always silence and time to enjoy it, because I don't use the translator....
You described wonderful the way to High Hrotgar....we all know the way....and I feelt the snow and the wind...
The Laughting Fox made a very tricky trick and you did a great work with all this staging in your pics. All looks so real, not staged.
A brilliant chaper in many ways.
    I enjoyed it very much

Don't worry about it, it is good to find a quiet moment to truly enjoy a tale.
I am really glad you liked my description of their path up the mountain, that you could feel the crisp air and drifting snow.
Edrelle's use of illusions in her heists in the past did help with that trick. It means a lot that you find the setup of my shots make the scenes look real, I do try to make them all look involved in their conversations.
Thank you so much, Blackmaid, great to hear you enjoyed the chapter

Very Nice continuation of the story. The group conversation between the members was excellent. The Climb up the seventhousand steps is also beautifully written. You catched the atmosphere very nicely I.m.o. .
I also liked the way the scheme was set up while the others were inside mingling in the peace talks.
Also very good to see the ambassodor stopped in her intruiging ways,..

It is good to hear you found it very nice, Janswin. Was quite the conversation to write with such a large group. Makes me smile that you think I captured the atmosphere of the climb up the steps, it is lovely to describe :-)
I am glad you approve of the plan they put together as Akhaz'iir was busy with the talks.
Elewen's arrogance and scheming did catch up with her in getting tricked by Edrelle and her friends

Great new story Alexi and I noticed a bit of an animal theme in a few parts. Like the opening with the hiss (which made me think of a snake), the snoring beast, and the thunderous mammoths. Then later the comparisons of Ulfric and Tulius. I enjoyed all the descriptive text as the group made their way up the mountain and watched as the climate changes - as you noted with the sounds and visuals in the story. The moon was well described and perhaps there was some magic from a friend making sure their foot steps were sure and they could see.

The whole plot against Elewen was excellent and always nice to see that arrogant and cocky Altmer get into a pickle. She will know the truth soon enough but then it will be a bit late as when her superiors find out she was tricked and left the mountain that in itself will get her into hot water I think.

Enjoyed your twists here to the main quest and how you worked in your rather formidable cast of characters (your party is getting big these days) for this part of the story.

I do like to compare some sounds to those of animals when describing nature, the rumbling of the tundra always makes me think of some snoring beast. I had fun with that comparison of Ulfric and Tulius, with all his travels in the wilds Akhaz'iir likes to make such comparisons. I am really glad you enjoyed the description of the group's climb up the mountain and their trek to the rift, those were the parts I was most happy with. glad you also like that part about the moon, it is possible that one made sure that the clouds did not hide the moon that night.

Good to hear you liked Edrelle's plan for Elewen, she was deserving of being taught a lesson for that arrogance of hers. Her superiors will not be pleased that she was tricked, trying mending her reputation is sure to keep her busy.

I am glad you enjoyed how I adapted the quest to the tale, they are quite the group and sometimes a little daunting to wrangle when taking shots but it is nice to have them work together. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on this story, Jonathan

Great to see your varied and fantastic cast of characters again! Really enjoyed both their journey up to High Hrothgar aswell as the Illusion Spell to trick a trickster so to speak. Always a pleasure to see the Ambassador in a lot of trouble; even if only imaginary in this case. Though one could argue that her leaving the Talks might be heard by her superiors and than she might indeed be in trouble with them which I think could be beneficial beyond what they planned for your groups around Edrelle and Akhaz'iir.

Really liked the comparison of Ulfric's and Tullius' parties as stubborn mammoth being herded by a; in this case very patient; giant. Glad to see he was able to achieve his goals aswell. Now time will tell if he can use the advantage to deal with the Dragons.

Looking forward to the continuation; very well done!

I am delighted you found it great to see them again, Alex ^^ It is great to hear you enjoyed the journey up the mountain and the spell, they were parts I very much liked writing. Elenwen did deserve to be taught a lesson for her scheming, Edrelle and her friends were amused to see how her arrogance fades away so quickly when she thinks she is in trouble. One does hope the ambassador does get into some real trouble with her superiors and there is a chance she will be, the longer she is kept from scheming the better.

I could not resist comparing Ulfric and Tullius to stubborn animals with how they argued, Akhaz'iir did have to be a patient herder indeed for those particular mammoths ;-) Akhz'iir will make the best of the truce to deal with the threat of the dragons with the support of his friends.

I look forward to sharing that continuation; thanks a bunch
