Until then thanks for the many nice words - I read them at the office today but focused my own comments on other peoples work for the moment and catching up on messages.
Love rainy days so was happy this set came out half-way decent since rain shots can be hard. The rats are a great touch to the city of Riften even if Wolfgar tends to see them as mobile snacks
But I'd kinda like to get back to some skyrim and get rid of that little writers blockade I had too. Well, after I got through the next week though. It's at least always a pleasure to come back here and look on all the awesome pictures and stories out there.
In many ways it is practice for me though as I want to write a book when I retire from work. Getting feedback and sharing on Nexus is very mild and safe but I enjoy it and helps build my confidence somewhat. So writing I need to do even if I don't post them as I need practice.
Plus I love how writing really adds to immersion in the game. For me Grim has so much personality now and so much history. He has become far more than just a game character limited to what the game story provides.
Also Skyrim is old by game standards, ancient even I am always surprised how active the community is all things considered. But it is quieter than when I first started that is for sure.
As for the writing, I tend to be more of a occasional and kinda impulsive writer, easily writing a lot when inspired but also not touching a story for weeks or even month if I lack the inspiration and can't seem to find the right words and sentences to properly express the story in my head.
I guess the of putting thing wasn't so much the decreased attention I got, but the way it was caused by how Image section works. Often your posts get rapidly burried under a lot of other posts and go relatively unnoticed unless you draw peoples attention by endorsements/comments or pumping out content. Or in short, the received attention usually scales with activity (you need less activity once you got some attention though), but I had no time and little motivation to really be active enough...it's a vicious cycle. This issue could easily be improved by additional top-x images of the day and/or week or something quite simple like that. Maybe I should try officially suggesting such things and not just ramble about it though.
On a side note I solved the crashing I think by changing the parameter "disable memory manager" to true in enblocal.ini - it forces ENB to use the Nvidia driver and not the one Boris has with ENB. I think there were some memory glitches involved and normally ENB is more stable but in this case, on my system, the Nvidia is better. If I recall the parameter right lol ... I could have it in reverse. Anyhow I had recalled a thread Boris had written in explaining the parameter in regards to crashes occurring so thought I would try it - seems to have helped. I played for 4 hours last night in the same place I was crashing every 5-10 minutes and not a single problem.
Keeping vitural fingers crossed
Anyway they are both still looking as good as I remember them, Wolfgar seems to have smelt a rat or two. Nice looking Lillies. Love the way grim seems to be searching frantically in the hunt while Wolfgar's just chilling and will spot anything before Grim does in the last pic
I saw your problem with FO4 and only hope you get it fixed. I left a suggestion or two but hard to know just what the issue is.
Love the rain shots, because if one was outdoors in such weather, then it is twice comfortable at home.
The rats....where are the rats from?
They are so cute
