As far as releasing them as a mod, I'm not sure that I can. I used a resource from another mod as the base diffuse texture (I modified it of course), then I found out their source was actually from someone's work on DeviantArt. I'm not sure if that mod author even had permission to use said artwork as a resource to begin with since it's not even credited in their mod release. I ended up redoing the eyes with the true source that I found, but I would have to track down the original artist for permission first (I don't release ANYTHING without explicit permission from any individual who's work I may have used as a base for one of my mods).
I also have a plugin that is made up of many eye mods combined (many of which I have fixed or customized to my liking so most are no longer their true original source anyway), so I would have to go and separate all the different eyes to repack in another plugin. I have nearly 1,100 eyes to sort through so that would take hours just by itself lol. That's just way too much permission hunting.
That said, I may release an eye pack at some point. I have many projects I'm working on that I haven't finished yet, or decided to just keep and not release. Interest here seems to be abysmal honestly. Unless you're one of a few certain well known individuals, you barely get any endorsements or comments on your work. I've seen some really good work get no love, and some absolute garbage get tons of "omg so amazing" comments and tons of endorsements and I just scratch my head and wonder why. Then I see it's the same individuals people are sucking up to and wonder why I even bother at times.
I've seen sets of pictures that look like a ton of work and effort went in to them and came out amazing that will get like 10-15 endorsements and 0 comments. Then another single release pic by another individual with some random girl with huge tits or a picture of a lamp post or something basic and/or stupid that will garner "omg amazing" and 100 endorsements simply because it is by one of those said individuals, even though it might be a half-assed pic or look like garbage. That's why I generally don't release any mods I do, or rarely post pictures. Unless you're part of the "it" crowd, your work is generally invisible and it's not worth the effort to go above and beyond to release work to individuals who are generally unappreciative of what you do, and are far more demanding than they deserve. Anyway...
Sorry got sidetracked with a mini rant lol. I would be happy to help teach you how to do they eyes like I have. I originally started with a guide I randomly found online, but it's honestly far too convoluted and has useless information and steps in it. It's a fairly simple process and can be done quickly. All you really need is Photoshop (or any image editing program capable of outputting .dds files) and NifSkope. You can have yourself a set of fantastic glowing eyes in less than 5 minutes. Feel free to send me a PM and I would be willing to help you out.
The images are also nicely done, and love how you put a lot of emphasis on her at times, showing her darker side of nature. Bravo! Very awesome creation.
I also love the fact that any sharp-tongued NPC who gives her attitude will be dealt with very quickly without remorse. There have been times where I ran in to certain NPCs and went "wow what a bastard"... Eliza doesn't put up with that :p They may find themselves with a dagger through the heart, or her next meal very quickly after their back is turned.
On the surface Eliza may just look like another pinup doll, but there is far more to her than that. Beneath her menacing eyes lies a tormented soul who's current state is a reflection of ill fortune and betrayal more than willingness and desire to become what she is. She did not choose to become a monster, and still struggles with whatever faint shreds of mortality she has left that she still so desperately clings to... trying to convince herself that she isn't an abomination or a vile creature. While not wholly evil, she is morally ambiguous enough to do things most don't have the stomach for. Vengeance and a thirst for blood may drive her, but there are still certain boundaries that even she will never cross.
Anyway, I've rambled on enough :p There is a ton of detail and back story for her, but I would be here forever writing it out and I'm sure not everyone wants to read a novel. Thank you for your comments, it is much appreciated.
Eliza Nightingale is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters I have made thus far.
That's a vampire I say, indeed it is! Very sexy and beautiful although she has these evil reeking about her. Great mix of images too with lots of work on the shadow effect. They look really cool, especially with those glowing red eyes of hers...
Well done!
