I was actually riding right by it on horseback and did a double-take and came back to snap this screenshot. I thought it looked pretty nice with the fog in the background.
Aye the fog and helped to really make the tall stone and altar stand out. I also liked the bit of shine/reflection on the front stones.
I try to usually explain why I like a shot in comments but sometimes I am tired and simply enjoy looking at images for a few hours on Nexus and writing tends to take more brain power then simply viewing does. So sometimes I resort to shorter comments but I don't comment on images unless I enjoy something about the post (beauty, humor, made me think of something, memory, etc) whether it be long or short
I completely agree. Sometimes I don't have much time, but I try to always at least throw a like on the images that do peak my interest, even if I am not able to leave a comment. So many great images here on the nexus.
