Thank you for reading!
Edit: I think the text should be a bit more readable now!
Cheers!
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story drawed me in and i was finished reading it while time passed quickly in my mind. You write in nice detail, making it easy to follow the story. The images to support your story are of great quality and fit the story like a glove. This style of uploading suits you very well i.m.o
All in all a really great image and story set,...
I'm glad you like it! It's always hard knowing if others will enjoy your story-telling, but on the other hand, it really comes down to the writer himself to have a good time. I did for sure! I've always had it easy imagining a story together from a single image, while this approach is quite the opposite - tell the story with the shots. That needs some kind of sense for what I will be writing later on and this will surely come more easy with a bit more experience...
Thank you so much for your kind review! I'll be giving sets like this a chance more often - sometimes just short stories, and others following the travel of Zareni...
Yeah, now it has started and I'm very curious about how dear Zareni will make her effort in the cold, harsh world of Skyrim. Lets see if she can be as legendary as Sedulsa...
Clever of her to say to the Jarl about needing a divine priest to visit the temple if they want to go looking for the missing priest, though I don't think she should hang around Dawnstar for long especially now she's upset the Thalmor.
A tricky one that Mareen taking the opportunity to run off like that with her bag. though credit to her she did help out in the fight which without it could have turned nasty.
Looks like she'll have to do some dealings with the khajiit to get fresh kit, but they are fairly welcoming from my experience.
I look forward to more, nice work m8
Yeah, it's getting easier to accept that I'll have to settle with a more toned down use of the language at least. It's probably not so vibrant and colourful as it could be and I still lack a lot of words, but that doesn't matter, because I had a really fun time doing this...
Expecially since it's made entirely from a normal play session, I should say. That way I can write with inspiration rather than feel torn about my lacking vocabulary, if I was to really create something unique...as many other writers here are doing
I'll be that easy reading choice with intense action packed within it...
The Thalmor fight really surprised me too! I didn't expect to see them there at all, but this Mareen girl comes with a quest - from the mod - which will make the story even more fun to write. It's all new to me...
I was afraid the shots would be too dark for some of you, but they seem to work alright. I have a very gritty mood in my world at the moment, so the dark colours really are in majority...
The story is fun as h*ll to write, because I have not a clue what will happen!
Well, at least not fully - I tend to play the character, see who she meets and build up a story around it. It' s a good start at least and Zareni has alredy murdered one priest, stolen a daedric artifact, met a smuggler, clashed swords with the Thalmor, lost the smuggler, lost the artifact - and I've just begun!
Great work, Rick!!
It's quite alright! I realise a lot of the members on the Nexus are not used to speaking English - I'm one of them - because we come from so many different countries. I try to make a bit of a sense with the images too, in case the reading is to hard or to time consuming. So if you don't feel you can read the text, enjoy the comic serie instead...
Thank you for your thrilled support!
but still I have to catch up with the whole story, just hope to have some free time during these days!
And like I've been telling others here, no worries about not reading the story. I mainly write because I love it so much - been doing so since I was 16 years old - and to try doing it in English is a great exercise. If people read and like it, I'm very happy of course, but this is foremost a share of images, so if you stay for the pics, that's really alright by me...
Just a heads up though, these story shots are of course meant to provide something to the tale, so they might not always be dazzling or even nice...

Excellentium - The Adventures of Zareni
Learn about Zareni, new to the land of Skyrim and a faithful servant to The Dreamweaver, the Prince Vaermina.
Very intense story by the way - Seems Zarein is very a very feisty amoral or just evil lass with a bit of blood lust. So can't say I feel bad for her that the skull got stolen ... i was actually cheering Mareen on :-) Still loved the Thalmor battle and it was well described and some nice images as well!
So yes, I have started up a story and Zareni will be the main focus for this. I had an idea of writing a bunch of tales about different characters at first, but I think I settle with Zareni for now. It's quite time consuming after all and I'm still new in this game - story-telling Skyrim that is...
Truly thank you for adding me on that list, Wolf! That's kind as ever and a bit of a recognition for me actually! I'm supperhappy about it and I just have one thing I'd like to change in your description. Exchange "faithful" with "erratic", because Zareni is really a worshipper of a deity not known in Skyrim. Vaermina just serves her actions for the moment, stranger in Skyrim as Zareni is. I'm blending my own lore with Tamriels, so to speak...
Thank you! I really appreciate this!
If you want more text please sent it along. I always prefer people to write their own descriptions as they know best how to summarize there characters.
I guess it's all official now when I've finished the second chapter. I'll be focusing on Zareni only in my story-telling, so we'll see how she'll be welcomed. She's not most likeable person...
I'm still at the beginning of my learning curve, but I had a great deal of fun putting this together...
what an outstanding work
even if I do not understand anything, by the language barrier.
with the story and the pictures you have surpassed yourself
my respect Rick, I would not have succeeded in something.
The shots are just as fun to take as the words are to make up...
I tried to make the images somewhat understandable even if you don't read the story, but this is something I can approve, I'm sure. I haven't really done that many sets like this and this is also the biggest so far. The images might need to be sized up, because they got very dark, but thats the way I like to play my game...
Thank you very much for your awesome reply!
