He probably could have had a happier life with her but in the end he made his choice not the brightness choice but it was his choice. Its Like a lot of us, he was blind and chose power over what could truly make him happy. Immorality really is not that fun when you thank about, you don't die, you can't really experience nothing. Well maybe somethings, but not the things that could make you happy. I always thank of Immortality to be like a little prison. Because I heard when a Daedra is killed he is reborn to live his torment again wheres the happiness in that, know that you could never be truly free.

How you describe Ancano reminds me of Damocles when were talking about being obsessed sadly. He was obsessed with killing as much Thalmor as he possably could. Anyways thats for another time hehe.

Beautiful girl Farvat and I really enjoyed the read. Great job dear friend

Wonderful images Fabrizio - she is a stunner and like that last shot best. The colors for the gems and the faint warpaint is very nice. Seems like Ancano never makes the right decision.

I do not think Ancano can choose differently, because his narrative purpose is to embody a tragic figure. That is the desire of mortals, to become Gods. For Ancano is unthinkable what sylaine tries to show, that the gods to mortals envy, because their finiteness, their limit, that men perceive as a sentence (The altmer are obsessed with this question) enables them to live fully as long as you are meant to live. Ancano wants everything, wants the fullness of the moment really lived, that is the essence of love, married to the eternal life of that of the instant. But the two things are not possible, maybe the gods are immortal, but they look to mortals because they are empty. Only those who have understood the supreme beauty of mortality, those who touched its beauty as its misfortune, can transcend the gods and become the Dreamer.
Thank you for your comment, dear Jonathan, I am using your enb preset and I'm very satisfied.

Thanks for the added insight on Ancano - I liked how you explained his point of view towards immortality and the difference between the mortal and immortal view points a lot. Also happy you are having some fun with the presets - they can be a struggle at times I know.

A very heavy decision to make with far reaching implications for him.......and love can make an individual very blind........I say this because the case can be made that Arcano is the subject of Sylaine's intense thought in the main image of her previous set and she may not have the best of intentions for him.......
I eagerly await your next installment......and once again over the top..........

In reality their relationship creates a moment suspended, completely away from their worlds, their purposes and the respective ideology to which they belong. The magic of their love, is the one that offers the two a chance to abandon their previous lives to undertake a completely new one. For Sylaine sent as ambassador to Winterhold, the distance from her sect of necromancers voted to resurrect Potema, to destroy living things and turning them into undead slaves, in itself rather extremist, engages a number of doubts in her mind about the actual meaningfulness of the project. Ancano opens the door to the part of her and this side of her personality takes over.. Sylaine wants to change her life, spending the last days of the world, alongside the elf who loves.
But for Ancano on the love he feels for Sylaine can not really change it to the end. This is because the Eye of theM agnus offers the childish temptation to to win it all, without the need for a waiver, You ancano think that will become a god using the Eye to shape reality at will, avoiding the end of the cosmic cycle, and may well have also Sylaine at his side. A bet on which he is betting everything, and that tragically loses it all.
Thank you very much for your comment!

Fantastic and very well thought out set Fabrizio! Your characters are on a level far beyond Skyrim. Someone needs to hire you to build the histories of the characters in epic games like this. Beautiful and perfect.

But I do not think that the authors of Bethesda are less good, the problem is that any creative person entered here will collide inevitabilemente with commercial needs. A writer may take many years to write the book propio, but the authors of a video game, the problem is a race against time, the limits of negotiable themes, and the requirements that put the art, to mere market.
The authors of a video game more often than not simply have the time to do what they would like, and this is a major limitation to the development of video games as a narrative form. Thank you for your appreciation of my friend.

Incredible as always. Art direction, costumes+makeup, and a story to add for the two are sensational. And a gorgeous babe to go along with it.

Thank you for the compliments really exaggerated. But that certainly do much pleasure. Certainly, I think to produce something special by joining, to a certain innate skill in drawing faces (which for me was a surprise) uniting with a certain expertise in imagining stories, but within the overall plot of the game.

I always felt poor Ancano was underplayed in Skyrim, there was so much more they could have done with him, but in the end there is nothing. Death! With Sylaine there could be so much more for him, more then being a god, happiness, no matter the time frame , something that he has never had it seems by learning about him. He is so closed to being close to anyone, could he give love a chance and find happiness I wonder or has he long passed that point where he could allow himself to hope for more then what he has in front of him. Wonderful shots........
