Thanks :-) Mine depends on location but it averages between 20 and 40 for outside.

I need to install those juniper trees. Maybe some parallax mapping. Kavels world is coming along nicely it seems.

Thanks! Aye I am loving it. Twice already, however, I had to back off on some things as I got memory overload ... and this is a fresh clean game with few scripts. It simply isn't possible to go all 4K lol ... much as I would like to. I have 16GB of RAM and 6GB of VRAM but sadly Skyrim really can't take advantage of it all.

I ended up with a mix of 1K, 2K, and 4K through trial and error. 4K I reserved for a few key things relating to characters and some textures that always bug me for being poor. Then I used 2k for things I tend to focus on with screenshots. The rest did 1K.

I may have to tweak that later but the game is stable now and looking very nice.

Can't believe you're going to such lengths to build a new world for Kavel. If (IF) I make a new character after Rathe, i'll rip out some Rathe-specific mods then dump newbie into his existing world. Lazy? Meh.

Well, for me, there isn't much point in making a new character if the world looks and remains the same. If I keep things the same I would just keep playing Grim (which I am doing). I need to feel like it is a different world if I am going to be able to sink into Kavel's character.

But then I almost never make new characters ... perhaps this is why lol. When I am done, probably today I think, I will back up Kavels world and then will have both ready to go.

The hard thing, for me, is who to play. With both Grim and Kavel setup and ready for playing I need to decide which one to play. I have Kavels first few stories plotted out so maybe I will at least do his origin story and see how people react.

In the end it will all depend on mood and who I feel like playing. I really miss Grim and have only resisted playing him by knowing he is safe and sound and that there is no rush - I can pick him up any time I wish.

Here here! I completely agree! The modders skills I envy and love! I am so tempted to withdraw from the world to create a new one here. But.....DAMN RESPONSIBILITY! I also have Zerwas' textures heavily in my game.

Some wonderful atmospheric shots, Jonathan, I particularly like the one with the firelight painting the falling rain with a warm gleam. It is interesting to see your progress in creating that game world for Kavel

Thanks Alexi! That rain shot really has to be seen in-game to be appreciated at its best. This is because the fires flicker and move as does the falling rain - and the reflections and wet look of the rain create a very immersive and lovely effect in-game.

Re-adding mods (from say a crash of the game and having to reload or troubleshoot) is not nearly as time consuming as making a new world. The amount of testing and research for each mod is time consuming!

I kept about 150 or so of Grim's mods (he had 301 I think before I backed him up) and have since added 96 new ones for Kavel. Almost done and don't have any more to add, I hope! Still some testing to do.

I also have some patches to make for the Real Teeth mod for custom followers, have to test a story concept that will use Real Children (but not leaving that installed), have to create a custom animal follower for Kavel's animal companion, and need to redo my Hircine mod as I want a slightly different Hircine than the one Grim has.

So plenty more to do but coming along!

I totally agree with you. By choosing your favourite mods you can incredibly customize your own game experience. And that's fantastic! Infinite thanks to all the modders in this community.
