Love the "Hunting Grounds" shot!
I set it as my wallpaper, good work
That last shot, my favorite. Very enchanting.
My actual problem is I prefer adventure writing and I backed myself into a corner with a string of "fluff" stories. I don't mind doing a fluff story now and then, and I like reading them (read a lot of romance novels as a youth), but much prefer adventure style writing. Anyhow need to get past the next few chapters so I can get back to what I enjoy more.
Glad you liked those shots as well - they are popular it seems. I plan on doing mainly "image" focused stories for the next few chapters as I want to get back to general adventure writing which is my favorite style.
I am not using MO myself. Originally I was going to use NMM 0.6 I made a backup of my NMM mod folder and then deleted all my mods and NMM. Then cleaned out my entire \Skyrim folder except for the original game (and DLC) content. Then installed NMM 0.6 and began the process of making a new Skyrim.
BUT two things happened to me. First NMM 0.6 had to many bugs still. For instance some things I had installed, that had options, that I later inactivated so I could reset the options ... except v0.6 forgot they had options and never asked. I also encountered some issues with overwrites not being correct. The solution to both was to simply unintsall the mod (versus deactivate) and reinstall then it worked fine. So could work around it fine - just more of a nuisance.
Second, the big one, I missed GRIM! I went into a semi-panic at the thought of not being able to play Grim's actual game. My plan had been to just import his mod and remake him in my new game - all fresh and clean. But a friend made a comment to me that made me realize something - when Grim went to get Erik they would look at each other and have no "memories" of each other. All of Grim, Erik, and Woflgars virtual memories are in their 780+ saved games. It just bothered me too much. 2 years of writing Grim's story every week has just got me too attached lol. I could just stop playing him and be okay but I didn't like "remaking" him - it seemed artificial.
So I went back to NMM 0.54, then copied over the backup of 301 mods, and then had to reinstall them all (luckily did not have to download - just had to reinstall but that still took all day).
But I still wanted Kavel. So I was like hey ... just make two backups for each character. I need a back up of the "Nexus Mod Manager" folders for each of them - as those folders contain all the tracking and mods that NMM has installed for them. But also need a back up of the \ Data folder for each of them - as that has the actual installed mods. By doing both I can switch them out and not have to do anything - as the NMM and Data folders match.
While easy it isn't quick. Both folders are about 20-24 GB in side so takes about a half hour to switch everything out - as I have to move Kavels two folders to his back up area and then put Grim's in. Luckily Kavels is going to be way smaller.
Still it works and provides me with back-ups in case I screw up something. Disk space is a non-issue for me as well.
