Your screenshots are absolutely fantastic as well and compliment the story really well. I took a deep breath when you mentioned helgen, knowing what would happen looking at the date. You're a really good writer Wade!
I have the civil war in a state of attrition right now, neither side has the numbers to truly defeat the other, and the Thalmor are playing games for sure. I did try to start the story off with a teaser on the date
So happy to have discovered your work!!
It will take me a while but I look forward to reading your works!
I'm always glad to share these works with more people
thank you very much for the comment and time.
Stan is such a perfect victim here. Poor guy framed in Riften by the guild (so typical of them - like how lore friendly that is) and was just looking for work. Stopping to enjoy some of Skyrim's beauty he was caught up by the ambush. I know the Imperials have no way of knowing - to them he is one of them I suppose but still it really burns me up when an innocent is punished for no reason.
Then Ellandra .. I am not sure why she and Jenassa are there yet but I am sure it is for a good reason. The way she refused coin for the Jarl, yet pays Jenassa, suggests she has a good soul. Also it seems as if her friend was not where she expected them to be. Then Alduin came and disrupted everything.
Fate has not been kind to Stan recently, and yet, he keeps managing to survive. Chances are, he will have to return to Riften at some point so we will see how that goes.
Ellandra is good to her friends for sure. Her coin management is also why she cannot seem to furnish her new home
Thanks again for the great comments.
Keep it up, wadelycan. Enjoy the hints at back story, and interested in seeing how this comes together.
Cheers,
