   that's the problem with calibrated monitors... your screen may look fine but on generic consumer monitors the blackpoint may not be desirable.. fyi; on my (decent) laptop the left side of that hedge structure is entirely black, as is the shadow below, in case you're interested in such feedback. On my monitor at home I can see very slightly in the blacks but not much. It helps when tweaking to look at your screenshots on 2-3 different monitors, if you can.
   
   But when I load the jpg in photoshop the black values are between 1,0,0 and 2,2,2 so that should be black. jpg compression messes with those values though...

      Yep, that's definitely helpful, thanks! I can try to take some screens and look at them at work as well.
      
      That said, I also found some more tools to adjust lighting that I SHOULD have been using so ... will probably go back to a backup and tweak again from there, knowing what I know now I might still have to pick your brain about [Environment] fog settings. It's driving me bonkers.

      Dangit, yep, looking at work (where my monitor SHOULD be design calibrated, LOL) and it looks pretty dark.
      
      Well, I backed up to rework it all anyways but I'll definitely err on the side of brighter from here on out.

      It's nowhere near the point I'd feel comfy with that yet, but I'll keep it in mind once I get it a bit more polished.
      
      Haven't touched interiors at all yet and underwater is still bright teal. LOL. To give an idea of what I mean.
      
      I will definitely keep your offer in mind though and I definitely appreciate the interest
