   i read your comment to Jon "Not something she chose to do" I think no matter what the subject be it the old mistress who is worshipped there is always a choice.......... I think she is still connected in some way to her and has not let go totally as of it ........... now very well could be wrong... but I still feel we chose our path be it right or wrong .......... goodness or evil and we can change it but still we did choose it till we decided it did not work for us ..........

   Very interesting new chapter about enigmatic and mysterious Faith! It was surprising to see her return to Helgen, but since there were some of her previous belongings, it is reasonable to check them out... and apparently old habits die hard, since faith did take the tings that belonged to her back when she was the servant of Mephala. Hard to let it go, it seems... I wonder what Faith will be u too in the next chapter!

      Thanks dear! Old habits do die hard... especially when they're subtly reinforced by a jealous and possessive Deadric Prince!! Poor faith, she's really being torn in two by her "masters"...

   So Faith has some weakness it seems - I think it was extremely foolish to keep that robe, no good can come of it and it shows that she has not truly moved on from her previous mistress. Why keep such a robe otherwise. Seems her Faith is not as solid as it should be. Interesting development!

      She walks a dangerous walk, does faith, but to be honest, I'm not sure how much of it is a conscious thing; bringing her robe with her, listening to mephalas whispered, even killing Kematu the way she did (next chapter) are all more like instinctive acts... something she was droven to do... Not something she chose to do...

   I see a thread of her old mistress' web still pulls her about, leading her to that broken city of but embers and death, to that chest among the ruins. It is an odd choice for her to have kept that robe among those other belongings, seems she has not left her past self behind as much as she thinks, old memories bringing hints of it back. Makes me very curious what will happen to her

   Very intruiguing ! Mephala still seem to have a certain hold on Faith, her former mistress still can pull strings...to have her go back to Helgen to find her old possession. Why would she take her old robe, could Faith's devotion have some flaws :-)

      Indeed! That's the very reason I've totled this series Blind Faith; she serves blindly... But whom? Akatosh or Mephala? Both clearly have their hooks in her... and she's not yet willing to (consciously) shut out Mephala...
