Indeed this is about as big as I have gotten with followers. Gets hard to manage although the goat was pretty much just tagging along

Wonderful par of the history my friend.
I really enjoyed the time the trio passed in Rorikstead, the description you made about this small village, the people working in harmony with nature without abusing it, that is exactly how I see Rorikstead and it community.

It's very interesting to see them spend time with the locals, to imagine a peaceful day in this small hamlet, Erik has become a hero, recounting his adventures to the village children, well think
It seems that Wolfgar has demonstrated its capacity Sheepdog, the day they will retire their adventures, guardian of herd will certainly be a good hobby for Wolfie.

Like the father of Erik, I smiled, imagining the scene of Erik, Wolfgar and Big Grim leaving the village with the goat in their sides. Excellent pictures and text!

Many thanks - we both seem to be very fond of the town of Rorikstead. I wouldn't mind living there if I ended up in Skyrim as just another average person. Heck Grim could retire there ... but he won't because most likely he would just attract to much attention to the town and it would be disrupted, he would never do that.

Glad you enjoyed there day in the town and getting caught up with Mralki and spending some time relaxing and doing their quest. Indeed Wolfie would make an AWESOME sheep dog or Goat dog

Bwah haw haw har! Grim Fenrisrson, Erik the Slayer and.... Gleda the Goat!! Ah I'm sure there's a joke to be had there about Grim just being a scapegoat but I won't go there

Nice tale as usual hon. I loved the beginning with the simple family moment over breakfast; Mralki getting some much needed time with his son and ?son-in-law?. I love the idea of Grim being 'Big Grim' in Roriksted. It suits him.

Very interesting twist with the butterfly leading Erik to the soil of Roriksted. Hmmm. What can all this mean?

    Off to the next one!!

It is all very fluffy is it not? :-) I wanted Sam's quest line to be very light hearted, a fairy tale almost, with a few pranks and riddles. Just relaxing really after all the work and stress of the DB storyline which took a lot out of me (all the mods, ENBs, planning, coordination, etc.) and so having a very casual and fun time with these stories. Almost a fable as I give some cliche meanings of beauty and life in the tale.

There is much more to be learned about Gleda, which will be revealed in chapter 20 which should be out this week. Thanks again for the comment and reading!

Nice to see Erik finding the beauty they were looking for. I can understand it, too -- my uncle and aunt live in a small town in southern Minnesota, and I've frequently visited for family gatherings (especially Christmas Eve since they took it over from my grandma some years back). Nice little town, but like Erik, I'd probably get a bit bored if I lived there.

I got a bit of a laugh as well from the whole Gleda thing, especially the surprise of her following Grim and Erik, and Wolfgar's thoughts on the matter. "Why is dinner coming with us?"...

Well done as always, Jon, both story and pics (especially this one)! I can hardly wait to see where this goes next.

Thanks for the cheery and nice comment Aaron. I grew up in a very small town myself and wanted nothing more than to move away once I got out of highschool, which I did - to NYC. Now I am back living in a very small town (although close to the seacoast so lots to do) and finding the beauty of nature all over again.

    Lol!
I enjoyed this chapter sooooo much!
Very humorous written with great details.

"why is dinner coming with us?"
    Words of the day!
Maybe Gleda will get the prize " Fastest goat of Skyrim" soon!

    Perfectly done my friend!

Perhaps she will - she was to tired to even cause trouble that night! Glad you got a kick out of this story and enjoyed it Heidi! As you can probably tell I have been enjoying this fairly light tale very much. Also been able to get a lot more information out on Grim and Erik as well.
