I do not know.. it seems she is very close to be lost... the "real" Ambrosia , not sure if there is anything left of her inside this dark one... soon we will see....

It was interesting to see Hermaeus Mora appearance, this sly and coldly calculative Daedra knows everything of course, but I guess the return of all Ambrosia's memories will destroy her or at least made her so vulnerable that Miraak may emerge victorious so it is in Daedra interest to keep her in blank state... though it may backfire, for Ambrosia with a gift of strange amulet seemed to lost all coherent thoughts except pleasing Miraak...
Also it was very interesting to see Armion not acting like ambitious Thalmor for once, he seemed terrified of new dark Ambrosia... Yet it was because of him and his Thalmor and their blackmail Ambrosia had to deal with all that Solstheim trials and now they literally created something far more dangerous than they ever could predict. It is sort of payback for his past schemes but I am terribly sorry for Ambrosia, while I don't understand Armion's new course of actions, is he acting or not with his desire to return back her memories? He seems genuine, which of course will never justify or redeem Armion for his past cruelties to Ambrosia and her family... I wonder how Ambrosia will deal with him after all, though I am afraid that either way, whether Ambrosia will return her memories or not, there is not going to be a happy ending, for there is too much of heartbreak and trials in any way she will chose... Still maybe there will be some light for her, even with Dagri gone, Ambrosia has her children, hope one day she will remember them all and maybe this will keep her going if her memories will be returned...

Miraak does pull her strings l wonder if he has any clue what he is creating....I think Mora knows and watches as no matter what if what he says is true...what does Mora gain if she turns on Miraak she would never follow him... and if Mora is correct does Miraak not know how dangerous Ambrosia is with no memories to hold her in check. I think it is a dangerous game they both play and she is caught in the middle and not knowing that she being duped by them both.....
Armion..... sly he is ..... what angle does he play now... he would be smarter to run now... for he has been come a pain.... and Armion, holds no cards anymore.... he created her by bring her to this place.... wanting the secrets of the first Dragonborn.... I think it will be a mistake he does not enjoy as I said to wolf if I were him I would run now.... he is no match for her now.... I do not think he is genuine, I think he is still playing her game... so she does not remember him then he will play on the game he was important to her.... we will see soon how well that will work for him......
I do hope she get her memories back and when / if she does that she will find a way to deal and find some small part of how she was before this happened..

The images are so good, excellent shots. The story, you know I was hesitant to read. But you have made each chapter flow to the next. No real questions of doubt in the story. Each twist explained... enough to create wonder... surprise and the yearning for more.
The writers block broken and you pulled through. I enjoyed reading it.
But then again.... I am biased.

I do not want to leave any doubt is where this going really but want to show the journey she takes to get where she will end up... changed I am sure...

As for the story - well worth waiting for as it was as sad as it was intense. Poor Ambrosia lost and she doesn't even know it. Even Armion feels bad for her. Perhaps somewhere inside of her, her soul is crying out in pain. Where do memories end and the soul begin? Seems even her soul can not reach through Miraks magic.
I am not sure what his plans are - for once Mora seems more straight forward but there seems to be a lot of plots going on with Ambrosia just being the pawn. She thinks she knows what she is doing, that she will have power, but little does she know the truth.
Then again perhaps Mora and Mirak are both in for a surprise - with or without her memories Ambrosia is a powerful force and a deadly enemy. Going to be hard to wait and see what comes next indeed as we wait to see what happens to our favorite lost girl.
Another great chapter in your tale Shelley and well done.
PS - I think even the noblest hero can get angry at those quest givers that want you to fetch everything under the sun for them. Your opening was rather amusing in that regard and made me smile a couple of times
The further she goes, no not right word, the further she is pulled I see the changes in her, changes that I wonder if ever will be undone as to what she had, no matter the end will she ever be able to forgive herself for the things she did or the reason behind them. I wonder once she has tasted the darkness that she holds within her that all Dragon born hold will she ever truly be able to be what she once was.... I think not!!
I think Armion finally understands he lost control very long ago and he walks a very slippery path, I think the only reason he wants to help her is to help himself... as the way she was would she be able to kill so easy.... not that she would not be powerful enough he is no match for her in that way I don't think but would her soul let her kill him with out pain to kill someone she once cared for.... but now she does not have those memories to hold her back... if / when the time comes if I was Armion well if I was him I would run now, he has outlived his usefulness to her..........
As far as Mora and Miraak... I wonder which one is in for the biggest surprise.... I do not think that either will be happy if she were to get her memories back, her memories of what she done for this power may hurt her but I think that her first thought will be to pay back them both for their little games with her life.... I know there is much more coming for her and most of it bad but I do wonder what she will end up being in the end. Even I cant see that ....

Yes those fetch and bring quests do seem to be a huge pain in the a** lol
Thanks for the clarification on what is happening with Ambrosia and Armion. We all have some darkness in us but normally we never let it have free reign like Ambrosia - because normally we have our memories and experiences to control things. At our core we are all still animals after all.
Still even animals have their urges to protect and seek company. Perhaps Ambrosia will be changed but not entirely to the just the dark side of nature. Perhaps, hopefully, she will find a nice balance between the two.
The EC is watching this closely (They are all Ambrosia fans) and are hanging on the edge of our seats waiting to see what will happen!
btw. Shelley hon, please make a real book with Ambrosias amazing Stories. I'm the first which buy this great book if it's published.
Armion, he I think is on his last life... will she do away with him or will he simply just find he can not follow what she has become any longer... soon we will see but I fear it will not end well for him...
She thanks the girls... she watches them closely also as she is a great fan of them and their unique ways...
