People often ask me, “Why do you smile?” To which I always say: “Because I breathe.” It’s true my life has not been easy, nor the path straightforward - but through all of that, I still draw breath. There’s a beauty in the light one finds within themselves when the road ahead is dark; a strength that will never falter. As long as I follow that light, I will find my peace… and I will need no other reason.
