    Even without pictures (I'm posting from the year 2018 and those seem to have vanished during the last 5 years) this was a very good short story. Very much enjoyed it.

      I've actually run across several of your posts on the Nexus' Image Gallery, and your short stories/blurbs have been a treat to read. So I thought I'd see how far back your creativity goes. Keep up the good work.

    Great work once again. Another seemingly standard assassination contract takes a fascinating turn that leaves me guessing. Love how it started after the deed was already done and backtracked. Very cool
    Oh and thanks for stopping those huge sluggy snail-like creatures. I had no desire to serve those things for eternity... Even if they did offer me a high up position within their administration...

    Awesome new installment, wonderfully and beautifully written! I like how you touch all areas from Saga life, from her thoughts about love to her religion and assassin contracts. this new one was very unexpected, the old man has paid her to kill him, probably didn't want to end his own life, like jumping from the cliff and hired her... Her confusing, surprise, chaotic thoughts were written wonderfully and I think Saga is right when she told Meeko to leave that silly place, for everything was nor right there, from her contact and his behavior... But it is also hard to blame the one who wants not even peace but void, I am sure he had his reasons for this.
    Fantastic shots too, very atmospheric and I really liked the interiors in that tower, really looked like an eagle's nest.

      Thank you so much for such amazing feedback, Nataly! While writing this short story I was aiming for... you guessed it, confusion. I didn't want to create a character study this time, so the description of the old man is pretty rustic. That's because I believe that sometimes the readers should decide for themselves what might have been going on in character's head. Or just be confused like Saga. I'm glad you noticed that!
      Yes, the tower is awesome, I fell in love with it the moment I've seen it.

    Such an intriguing contract when the one's target is expecting that strike of the blade, that song of the arrow, waiting for the one with his coin in her pockets, wanting to see the face of the one that would end his life, seems he has had a harsh life to prefer the void over the world around him. Really like the part about her bad joke in her head not helping anything, you really have a way of placing those touches of humor so well and I also really liked how Saga listened to his words and warned of the place where his soul would go, the traits of an unusual Assassin. Wonderfully crafted, Kayol ^^
