Skyrim

PERFORMANCE TWEAKING

To open the in-game GUI, hit SHIFT + ENTER.

Muse is not that demanding, but if you're still looking for performance:

  • Whatever you do, DO NOT DISABLE MIST. The whole preset is built around it.
  • First try lowering quality rather than disabling a feature entirely. Bigger FPS hogs tend to be SSAO/SSIL and DEPTH OF FIELD, so those are good places to start.
  • Skylighting may be disabled (under enbseries.ini) for a decent boost, but at the cost of some of the deeper shadows.

AESTHETICS TWEAKING

To open the in-game GUI, hit SHIFT + ENTER.

THE NIGHTS/INTERIORS ARE TOO BRIGHT/DARK.
  • For broad, sweeping changes, you can simply raise and lower Brightness under ENBEFFECT. This will affect all weathers.
  • For more precise changes, you need to tick "show weather window" in the left-hand pane. In the new window that comes up, under [Environment] change the relevant Ambient Lighting Intensity to your liking. You must save your changes at the top of the weather pane, NOT the main one!
