THE SMITHING PERKS

Weapons and Armor Fixes makes the following changes to the Smithing perks.  These changes will allow all weapons and armor in Skyrim to be improved further based on one perk or another.

BASIC SMITHING (formerly Steel Smithing)
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:

  • Hide, Studded, Leather, Iron, Banded Iron, and Wood
  • Steel, Silver, and Ancient Nord
  • Imperial, Stormcloak, Forsworn, Penitus, Wolf Armor, Shrouded, and Thieves Guild
  • Dawnguard and Vampire (DG)
  • Bonemold, Bonemold Improved, and Cultist (DB)


DWARVEN SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Dwarven
  • Falmer Heavy and Aetherium (DG)

ELVEN SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Elven and Falmer
  • Chitin Light and Morag Tong Armor (DB)

ADVANCED SMITHING (formerly Advanced Armors)
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Elven Gilded, Scaled armor, Scimitars, and Nord Hero armor
  • Ancient Shrouded, Guild Master, Nightingale, Linwe's Armor
  • Vampire Royal Armor and Snow Elf armors (DG)
  • Ancient Nord Honed, Blades, Skyforge weapons, and Steel Plate
  • Chitin Heavy (DB)

ORCISH SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Orcish
  • Nordic Heavy (DB)
  • Ancient Nord Honed, Blades, Skyforge weapons, and Steel Plate
  • Chitin Heavy (DB)

GLASS SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Glass
  • Stalhrim Light & Stalhrim weapons (DB)


EBONY SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Ebony
  • Falmer Honed weapons and Falmer Hardened armor (DG)
  • Stalhrim Heavy & Stalhrim weapons (DB)


DAEDRIC SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Daedric armor and weapons
  • Nightingale weapons


DRAGON SMITHING
Allows you to improve the following weapons & armors twice as much:
  • Dragonplate and Dragonscale armors
  • Dragonbone weapons (DG)


**Items listed in blue fall under the Advanced Heavy (Orcish) perk if using one of Smithing Perk Overhaul's "Vanilla Tree" options.  Otherwise, they will be affected by the Advanced Smithing (Light) perk.
