If you change your mind and post any wolf shots on nexus at some point let me know
I don't see things ever changing now for win10 so will just hope that TES6 runs fine on it
I do enjoy FO4 a lot and it runs great on win10 so otherwise happy with it.
Fenrir looks really amazing, but i think that`s not the vanilla meshes. He looks much more "fluffy" than the vanilla wolves, and he has not the "moonface" of this very prominent mod, which i don`t like, because wolves look a bit like playful toy dogs with this mod.
Is there a mod somewhere in the universe which let Wolves look like Fenrir, or did you tweak him yourself?
Fenrir, however, is not using True Wolves and I would never use that mod with Fenrir who is meant to be more savage. Fenrir is using vanilla meshes and mostly vanilla textures.
In the main image the "fluffy" aspect you are seeing is a mix of the blizzard spell surrounding Fernir and the bight bloom abd blur aspect of Jyggalag. The way you can tell I am using the vanilla wolfs are the large fangs you can see in the main shot as well as the first image in the body if you look closely.
The textures are vanilla except they have runes engraved on them and this comes from the Fenrir mod. That mod used the vanilla textures and meshes and then tweaked them with the runes, to make his eyes a pale ice blue, and add the glow effect to his skin.
He does look softer in the body shots (not as savage) because he is asleep. Also to make the poses work I had to edit him in the CK and assign the dog behavior animation files. They will work on a wolf but they remove the eyes - which wasn't a problem for this set as Fenrir is sleeping so it just looks like his eyes are shot. But this is why I don't just assign the dog behavior to Wolfgar and have him use the vanilla textures/meshes - I can't have running around with his eyes shut all the time. True Wolves fixes the blind eye issues so you can have a wolf with more animations.
Beautiful imagery!!
I have to admit, much in contrast to the first terrifying image
However I always thought he turned out viscous because the Gods betrayed his trust and tortured him (if you know the story of Fenrir you will know what I mean). So this version of Fenrir escaped to the world of the Elder Scrolls. But much of this covered in all the stories I have written with Grim.
Fenrir is the father of Grim which is why Grim's full name is Grimulfr Fenrirson. It was often the case in Norse history to add "son" to the last name to designate the child. Hence Son of Fenrir is Fenrirson. Grimulfr means " Dark Wolf".
Wolfgar, Grim's half-brother, is also the son of Fenrir. Combined Grim and Wolfgar make up a whole and together they have replaced Fenrir. Again all a lot of story lore.
The following pics are outstanding and very unique, never saw such pictures before....really great work of making wonderful pics. I will only speak for the pics allone.....now I'll go to the story
