In the mean time I hope you all enjoy these little excursions into Marrok's world and don't mind the little teasers about who he is. It should come as no surprise, however, that he is a werewolf ... especially with his first and last name.
PS - I can say, if things all go well, that all these characters (Marrok, Fyrulf, Kavel, Garulf) will eventually join up with Grim, Erik and Wolfgar ... along with a few others. They will make up his squad which he will need very soon.
Marrok lacks those tools so his stuff goes in his pack. One reason he travels very light (which is a real thing and not just for a story - I don't let him carry barely anything in his inventory - makes game play more challenging).
He seems quite bright and fairly easy going and good luck with your new pc build
Marrok has little past prior to age 7-8 or so from all accounts. I haven't gotten into how he got his wolf-blood yet, or why he is in Skyrim. I have already changed his last name and tweaked his looks a few times ... and re-started him for the third time from Helgen (from the very start - opening game as I am anal about my new character being 100% pristine ... its my weird mind at play) today. I think I am very close to his final character though. I went through the same thing with Grim.
Plus with the new PC coming I really don't want to write anything about anyone knowing I might have to rebuild again. Better to wait until I have a stable set up. So right now just experimenting a lot with mods and ideas.
Wonderful pictures of Signar and Marrok with the little smile around his mouth
Looks like a beastie computer you're getting down below. The one I just built is pretty similar. Biggest difference is I went with an i7-5930 6-core and a water cooled GTX 980TI. I also decided to experiment with an Intel 750 series SSD for games. As soon as I know it's all stable and good to go I will start overclocking.
I am not really a hardware person - lack the patience for it. I don't like fiddling with computers actually (beyond the fact that I have to for work) which is why I don't like SLI and didn't go water cooled as I don't want to be bothered with maintenance. I don't really overclock either - the only over-clocking will be done by the team putting the computer together (who are experts) and will be a safe over-clocking that works with the custom build coolant system and fans - I emphasized to them I wanted a very low maintenance "leave it alone" system. My last PC was like that which was great. All I did was blow out the dust and clean the inside/outside every couple of months.
They did a great job on my last PC and was very happy with it. Still works great and has a Titan in it so planning on keeping it as a spare for now. Once the new PC has proven itself, and been paid off, the spare will go to my brother or will donate it to some place.
A fun little insight into Marrok's life there Grim. Look forward to more
Good luck with the new build too.
Very nice story Jon,...
Curious to see what happens next with this handsome Dunmer :3
Signar is gloomy but I don't think he would pass up someone like Lydia given the chance
