    Nice to see Synnassa again - I think your writing of her is among your best; the style seems to suit you very well. Have always enjoyed her sharp tongue and over the top narcissistic ego. I also remember "Catman" and his scrolls as I ran into some trouble using those with my Orsimer, Varg. Her way of convincing him to come along seemed very efficient lol. Not a good idea to get on Synnassa's bad side either. Luckily she changes her mind and whims very often so as long as you can survive her current mood you may have a chance.

    Great exploration of the ruins. A good point about all the work the Nords put into making them for their dead .. who refuse to stay dead :p

    I wonder if the amulet she is collecting is the Galdur one since that one comes in parts. I suspect she might become bored with it once done lol. Certainly the life of the Arch-Mage was not what she expected.

      Thank you very much Jonathan, very happy you do enjoy Synnassa's Little field trip with Little J'zargo He does regret ever asking about those Scolls even though it is partly his fault .. I mean exploding Scrolls are not the best idea .. without the 50% fire Res of the Dunmer (or how much it is) I think Synnassa would have fallen flat on the ground with each of those scrolls. In any case, you are right .. time is bascially your friend while dealing with Synnassa .. eventually she will get so distracted by something else or too bored that she will stop bothering you .. or like in J'zargo's case threaten to burn your fur.. cruel!

      It is indeed - even thought she might be bored already .. as she has heared Rumors of a real Necromancer's Amulet of old in WIndhelm .. she might decide that such an Artifact would be even more interesting for her

    YES!!!! My favorite "Mage with attitude" is back!!! So good to hear the story told through dear Synnassa!!! She just gets so bored and annoyed with it all! Well...except synging "Mr. Catman's" fur!
    Poor J'zargo, can't say he didn't have it coming!!!
    Oh it was such a pleasant surprise to see her in action my friend! LOVED it!!!!!

      Indeed poor J'zargo - but I think with the "strange Lady" in the End he will have a better time in the future - at least he is not in danger of getting his Fur burned off by allies

    Haha! Well done my friend! I was not without a smile the entire chapter. So good to see her back in action, stretching her legs, in all of her feisty fury.. lol poor J'zargo ala " Mister Catman" rues the day he approached her about those scrolls.. will he ever gain her respect or forgiveness ( if she is familiar with the concept) or will the punishment never end? Not sure I want it to..far too entertaining this way. Funny how just about everything bores dear Synassa to tears but the twitching of Catman's whiskers is highly captivating.. I think she may have a bit of Cat in her as well? ( Ducks a possible blow). Very interesting way to end this.. who is this Woman seeking knowledge to stand against the Dragons? And does she know whose audience she has sought?? Poor mystery woman.. dragons may be the least of her problems.. LOL!!
    Excellent images throughout this little tale. Catman especially with his priceless expressions.. my fav may be the one where he is err.. " happily" agreeing to accompany her.. l ))
    Bravo my dear and well done on the muscial selection!! Would love to see Syn and Lemmy have a beer... haha!!!

      Thank you very much, happy you were not without a smile Indeed J'zargo regrets asking her about that, but hopefully he will have more luck with the mysterious Lady recruiting him .. at least he will be treated better I assume and no longer called Catman hopefully And I doubt that the Lady would take any of Synnassa's Shenanigans
      Very glad you do like the Images aswell! Indeed Khajiit Expressions are priceless, especially J'zargo's with his Little whiskery black beard

      I think that might not be the best Idea to have Syn drinking .. I doubt she will be any better Company

    Synnassa in all her glorious sassiness ! Sure missed her ! Seem like being Arch-Mage isn't as fun as she might of thought it was...being bored rather easily and that pesky Tolfdir always bothering her with insignificant and trivial things. She sure is a very persuasive one...poor J'zhargo..she will never forget about those scrolls and she will have her revenge ! Awww she still have Stupid with her ! hahaha..thinking her horse is so dumb he'd sink into a mudhole hehe.

    nananananannanananana catman catman ! Sorry...i couldn't help myself ! Ahh shame that the silly cat didn't her give her the pleasure of frying him a bit as a way of persuasion to follow inside the ruins...spoil sport ! Well she sure found a way to get rid of him at end hehe.

      Well, she will have a few more occassional shortstories I think, so something to look Forward to Indeed it is way less interesting and exciting than she had expected Oh yes, I do think J'zargo regrets ever asking her about those - even though now he is out of her reach as he travels with the strange Lady wanting to fight Dragons
