Indeed What will become of him now? Bereft of respect and honour, an outcast!
    How poignant Eyvind's fate is....
Will he catch up to that *sshole Arnbjorn now, and properly "thank" him for his thoroughly rotten "advice"? ^^

    Endorsed.
    Thanks, Jess, and cheers, dear!

Exiled by the Companions. Cast into the wild. It strikes me that is where he belongs. But what will come of him?
    Fantastic work dear!

Well done and love how you handled the pack. A wolf that does not follow the pack is either killed or exiled, often becoming an outcast. I would say I felt sorry for Eyvind but it would be a complete lie I am afraid. He is a fool and while he is young, and some allowance can be made for mistakes, this was far more than a mistake or just a drunken brawl or the like. He knew what he was doing and he did not think it was wrong at all. He is a bad seed and I for one agree with the decision made - he deserved what he got.

A cool character though and even if he becomes an evil character it is nice to know his past and what shaped him. I wonder what part of his upbringing, however, tainted him like that. Often not a single thing of course, and you mentioned a few, still I think there must have been more going on in as he grew to manhood from a babe that caused him to seek out the feral nature of the beast. Unless the death of his mother was not an accident but tied to a Prince or a curse or something else.

Maybe some day, like Arnbjorn (well with Grim), he will find some wisdom.

Thanks hon! I thought you might have strong feelings about Eyvind based on his past actions. He totally did F up in the past chapter, and as you (and Skjor and Kodlak) pointed out, after Fing up he still couldn't see what he did was wrong. Arrogance. Ignorance. Misguided anger? Call it what you will.

And yes, good call on the 'taint' mentioned in this chapter. As you (and I both) know, people aren't usually inherently evil... they're usually a product of genes and environment. And considering he had roughly the same upbringing as Vilkas and Farkas, why did Eyvi turn out the way he did; ambitious, angry, hungering to be the Alpha...

All questions I would attempt to answer if I ever continue his story.

Wondeful new part ! It raised quite a few question when Kodlak claimed that Eyvind was 'tainted' from the very start...so many questions now ! Ah seem our dear Eyvi learned not to break the bro code ( sorry lol ). Can't be easy to have the people you've known since childbirth turn their back on you as if you were nothing more then a stranger.

Off to the next part i go !

Hahaha, the bro code! Love it. If not for the few women in the Companions you could almost think of them like that!! But yes, it was a harsh lesson for the young man to learn... and one of those lessons that comes without a second chance. You realise too late that you reall f***ed up!

Once more a great Chapter and amazing Detail concerning all involved characters; I do love your take on Skjor and Kodlak; and Eyvind for that matter. Even though I did notice that Kodlak claims that the "taint" was in Eyvind from the beginning; so why did he not intervene in the turning of the Boy earlier; why did he let Skjor have his Way? Oh my; questions over questions; maybe time will reveal off to the next part; very well done!

Indeed... why would a 'tainted' individual be trusted with something as powerful as the beast blood?? A story thread I have in mind which may get fleshed out in the future....

      Thanks hon!
