Have to reinstall Skyrim entirely -.- ;...so yeah..gonna take a while. Even more afterward to reinstall all my mods...and recreate all my pretty characters ! :(   For now i'll be crying in a corner :D

    Oh you poor dear!! I so feel for you. Thought I'd lost mine the other night bug thankfully just a conflicting mod causing me grief. I now copy EVERYTHING onto a spare HDD. I'd weep if I ever lost Rathe!

      I sadly don't have an extra HDD :/..not yet. Soon as i do i'm doing a backup of everyyythhinngggg.

    Oh, I am so sorry for you! you had such great storyline going on and such disaster... Hope you will manage to recreate your beautiful characters!
    I also had to reinstall Skyrim three times, but I always keep save games of my character in separate directory... a lot of her saves for such case as broken game. I had such problem in Oblivion game and it taught me to make such back up saves.

      I think i learned my lesson right now I hope i can recreate most of them without too much problem once i'm done with the reinstalling process.

      So sorry to hear this Lia. I have had to reinstall a couple of times. The first time was my own fault for throwing caution to the wind with mods. The second was when I tried to update to windows 8 and had to go back to 7. I do what Nataly does - only right now I have (literally as I just checked the files count) 884 saves for Grim - including the very first one at Helgen. I also export every character I make to a spf file and then import it into a special mod I made with the CK to keep them preserved. Still I shudder at the idea of trying to recreate all my mod line-ups and having to start over. Good luck getting everything back up!

    Oh Liadys... I am so very sorry to hear this.. not just because I will have to be patient for your new posts but because I have been exactly where you are and it sucks. If you need anything let me know ; )

      It sucks big time I wouldn't say no to some cookies and milk...and a hug ! aside from that..i guess all i need is people to be patient with me while i get everything back and working ^^

    Oh Liadys, that's a bummer!

    I just hope you can re-create your characters and continue with your great storyline.
    Anyway, enough with the sympathy.
    Stop messing about and get some more shots and stories posted!

    If I would know how I would have made a link here to one of my screens to show you how I react in cases like this It happens. You will have a nicely running clean game and a chance to do things over in Skyrim life. See you.

    You are not alone...I just had to reinstall myself and lost a lot of beloved characters. I try to tell myself it's a good thing because now I will create new friends to journey through Skyrim with...but that's a lie...I miss my old friends. But having seen your previous work I am sure we will see a new set of friends that will stand out and shine. Keep your chin up. Liadys, your one of my fav posters and I look forward to your new characters!
    ***And I really sympathize with you because you are in the middle of an epic storyline. I hope you can recreate enough to continue...and if not then I suggest a "Star Trek" style reboot where some weird phenomena changes the space time continuum so the story can continue even If the charaters are a lil' different looking

      I'll miss all my old friends... But I'll try to remake the old ones (at least all those related to the story i had going on !) to look as closely to what they used to..but i do doubt they'll look 100% the same...but at least they'll be there again

      Thank you, I appreciate. Slowly working on reinstalling stuff now that the game is done installing..
