Great work on these screenshots, we should always be peaceful with/in nature.

Thanks, Zebra0 Indeed, it's one of the few things that we haven't made that give us some serenity.

Enjoyed the animal shots. In regards to the theme, animals have the blessing of not being aware of their own mortality ... at least apparently not in the same way we do although some ape studies indicate there is some awareness of death. They also have a strong survival sense but that is a different then just being aware or mortality. Life might be much nicer if we did not know about our own deaths but can't really separate that awareness of death from being self aware and intelligent.

I think animals are aware of death. As they age, they behave differently than they would, not only because of fatigue but out of awareness and compliance.
I think that the survival instinct and the death urge are separated in animals; for humans, I believe because we see it personified and conditioned to perceive it as something to hate and fight.

Don't get me wrong, we should strive for survival, innovation and thrive but when we start aiming for some sort of idea for pseudo-immortality because we are taught to hate death, that's when it becomes a cultural malady.

Animals are simple in a way that they start a journey, carry it through then reach your destination. Humans tend to worry either of what the journey is all about, or the destination or whether we are travelling right.

Sorry, I ramble and rant, but I truly believe in the freedom of animals.

Some great poetic words about that cycle of life, that thankfulness of animals for their freedom, the peaceful glimpses of nature in the shots really go well with the words

Thank you very much for your kind compliments, Kamikazekossori Indeed! Animals are so free and nature is indeed peaceful, unfortunately both seems to be becoming quite rare as of late.
